I had an uncle that was wounded in the Battle of the Bulge during WWII. Never talked about it much and I often regret asking him to share his stories. He's long gone now, so I really missed out on something there .. I'm sure. I'm sure our veterans could tell some reall horror stories about their experiences. Give our veterans all the honor and glory they so richly deserve.
Got one down here in the states as well. Haven't gone through it much yet. I thjought that, when I signed up, I would only get the premire issue. Quite a surprise, and a nice one at that, to receive the second issue.
I do what Garrett suggestsn as my wife and I both get the Sportsman license. We don't intend on ever keeping a legal musky and we'll pay the extra $$$ to avoid any possible hassle. Of course, I have to catch one first.
Never even gave that a thought until now. Well, at least our "Joe the plummber" is licensed and most likely insured and bonded. We're one or two up the other guy.
You guys must have been desperate after three weeks absense to have to go through all that. Sure glad though things worked out for you and ya'll even caught some very nice fishes. Great report.
Geez Garrett. Didn't know that and can't imagine what that would was like. One thing about this place, and it's members. When the chips are down for someone, many others rise above ... well and beyond.
