Way too funny.

I used to do the same as Wayne, with the wallet back in camp. Recent years though, I've started keeping it with me. I also keep a copy of our boat insurance and registration in the boat. Being from the states, while in Canada, I also keep a photocopy of our passport photos.

Mattyb: I'll double check tonite, but I am pretty sure I don't have any. I had one, but I am almost certain that it got thrown out not more than 2 weeks ago, while I was cleaning out our boat. Sorry about that. If you are already booked, drop Harold an E-mail. He may be able to E-mail you a copy of it. EDIT: Sorry. I checked around and I don't have one of Harald's maps.

Rick. Would you have a little more specific instructions on how to do this. I just got one facebook a little while and not familair with all the stuff in there. Thanks. I'll be patient ... I know ya have a lot on your plate right now.

I'll share the story of my first OFC GTG. After joining the board, I heard about an annual GTG at Lakair each June. Of course, I wanted to attend and put some faces to the board names. Unfortunately, we ended up moving in to a new house, so that used up all of my extra vacation days for that year. But - I was committed to making the next one. So, next year came and everyone started talking about it, so I made a few posts asking a bunch of questions. I knew I would be there alone, wouldn't know anyone, and had no boat. Several of the members encouraged me to come up and that I wouldn't have any problems finding a seat in someone's boat. Well, I arrived on a Tuesday, checked in, and met ChrisK in the lodge. Chris invited me out immediately (and I wasn't even unpacked). I quickly set up the camp site and off we went. Came back for a little and back out again that very same evening. Chris and I pulled our resources and had some Walleye for supper. Chris put me on my very first Walleye ever. Chris and I spent the next few days fishing here and here. Later in the week, as more and more people showed up, I had more offers to head out on the water. I think I ended up fishing with Irishfield, Aplumma, Deg, Loonietoon, and probably a few others. I think, in the week I was there, there was only one day that I didn't get out on the water at all. But, I still managed some nice pike off the dock and along the shorelines that I could get to. But Hey - I didn't care. Overall, I really felt welcomed by everyone, had a great time, and met lots of great people. This year, I think will be my 4th GTG, and my wife's second. Patsy came along last year and had a great time and also made a lot of friends. So, I'll give this as a testimony to all the great people who are part of this OFC Community. HOpe to see you all again in June and hopefully some new faces as well.

Mattyb: Use the Search feature on here for Wolseley Bay and French River. I should have some reports out there from past years. My wife and I have been fishing out of Wolseley Bay (Wolseley Lodge) for about 5 years now. Missed last year, but we're booked for this coming September. Check out my previous posts/reports ... we'll go from there.

Hey ... I exist. I think I do. This is great to see where everyone is from. Wonder why my ICON is Blue and the others are Red. I guess that will match pretty nicely with the new ride I'm buying.

Pretty Cool ... I see what I have missed by not signing up sooner. Heck - I even recongize a couple of them. Hey TJ - after a while here, how about posting the names of those in the pics for us newcomers.

I'd be willing to chip in a bit to help keep this site running. Our mods spend a tremendous amount of time keeping all this going and up to date. Make it voluntary. Those who truely love and participate in this site, would help out financially to keep it going. It has to be paid for somehow. The ads don't really bother me as I am reading the posts.

Happy Birthday Wayne. Have a great one.

Canadians' Internet use exceeds TV time

I'll bet you that wasn't the case this past Saturday -
Yeah - I updated my original post - assumed that was it. So - there is such as thing as a "STOOPID QUESTION". I just proved it.

Problem encountered: In a thread, I click on the little green ICON to view a profile. With the profile displayed, I did a right-click and select properties of this window. Once I do this, IE-7 locks up and I have to user the task manager to end the session.

Question: In the posts, many of the members have an ICON to ADD AS FRIEND and SEND PM. How do you get them to appear ? NEVERMIND: I guess I wouldn't send myself a PM nor would I even ask myself to be one of my own friends. I doubt they would show on your own profile. (do ya have an icon for an idiot ?

Glad to see ya back Carole. Stay POSITIVE.

That's simply great. When our kids make us proud - be sure to tell them.
