  1. That's primarily why we stopped bringing our pups up that way in June. We miss bringing them, but the bugs drive them crazy. Last time we brought our Lab, she got bit which turned into a nasty infected wound. We bring them in September and I think they enjoy being with us
  2. Kinda cool looking ....... The new board
  3. Sorry to hear this Cliff. Fought e fight and now time to rest. Our condolences
  4. Things started picking up on the north channel after a skunk on Nippissing. Thing the rain help mix this up at bit. 42" day before yesterday and a nice 46 last evening
  5. Will see how she goes next week as I'll be on the North Channel. Very slow here on the west arm. One follow Sunday am, and haven't seen a thing since. We'll keep going, maybe something will change. Weather looks fairly consistent thru middle of next week from what I am hearing.
  6. We're at Memqusit now and has been real slow going, but just got here on Saturday. So,e friends of ours are in another cabin up here and it's been slow for em as well. Will see how she goes, we're here for this week then heading down to the French river for next week, We typically do fairly well down there - but we shall see. Great weather though.
  7. Jumping up here in PA as well. Glad I filled up before they jumped today
  8. Wow. We've seen a fair number of northern critters.but usually in the vehicle or in the boat. Not on foot yet.
  9. Best fishing times there are. Make the memories
  10. I promise !!!!
  11. Awesome. We popped down 1500 on our first airedale to repair her ACL. She did very well during her recovery.
  12. Wow ... got lucky there. Note to self to have at least one spare. I'll definitely have one before I head north again, We were up on the West Arm at Maskinonje for the Musky opener - I have one small pike for my efforts, but I was only on the water a few hours a day anyway. hopefully September will be a different story. At least you got to hit the water for the week.
  13. One awesome report. The trip of a lifetime. Thank You for taking the time to put this together.
  14. Awesome start. Mine starts in just under a couple weeks on Nipissing.
  15. Good luck at Rainbow. My wife and I have been going there every year for at least a dozen or so years now. We'll be there in mid-September for a week of chasing Muskies. That little stretch has treated me quite well over the years.
  16. May as well add a pic of my new ride.
  17. I have fished out of Wolseley Lodge right next to Totem Point. If you do a search on Woseley Bay / Wolseley Lodge, you could find some of my past reports. Haven't been back for several years now - so you may have to go back a while. The main bay itself holds some big fish, even in the 50's. Personally saw a 50 landed right in the bay. You are in good shape in the bay as far as hidden hazards. As was mentioned, stay a little off the shoreline and don't cut any corners sharp, and you should be fine in the long bay itself., One year I was there, we met a guy from Ohio that fished from Wolseley Lodge for several days and never left the bay. Landed something like 6-8 nice Muskies in that time period. This was in early Sepember. Good luck and welcome to the board
  18. Oh my gosh Paul. I know she has not been on Facebook and was winding if everything was ok. My deepest condolences my friend. Joey was indeed a great friend of ours.
  19. Merry Christmas guys and gals
