  1. Too bad you got skunked man. Were you after pannies or pike? How's the ice thickness? I'd like to check out Valens sometime this month. Corn Nug
  2. Very nice report Misty. You look well equipped for a day out on the ice. Congrats to you and your son. Where were you fishing? Corn Nug

  4. Sounds good. I look forward to seeing more finalized details as to the exact date and location. The 10th or 11th would work for me. Corn Nug
  5. Well said man. Some people take this internet thing too seriously and are wasting away in front of their computer. Where abouts on the Grand were you hoping to have the tourney? Caledonia area? Corn Nug

  8. Great report Ron. That is an awesome pic of that pickerel. Corn Nug
  9. You could test your luck at Valens Con Area or perhaps Puslinch Lake. They should be safe soon if we get a dip in the temps. Corn Nug
  10. Good point Lew. You try to share something and others see the need to scrutinize it. Just enjoy the photos and keep the opinions to yourselves. Nice Musky! Corn Nug

  13. Looks cool to me GCD. Corn Nug
  14. I was wondering about the avatar too TJ. Looks like some shady business going on there, or maybe, just maybe, it's the seldom witnessed urban fly tying in the wee hours of the night. Corn Nug
  15. Great report Mr. Twister. Those are some nice looking pickerel. Happy to hear things are safe on the bay. I'll be there in 2 weeks. Hoping to get into some pike and pickerel. Corn Nug
  16. Nice report KC. Glad you were rewarded with the landing of the second HOG. She sure is a beauty. You should get a replica made. Corn Nug
  17. Hahahaha..... Thanks Jeff. I'm just getting excited about the trip, the date's closing in. Tell Rob I want the hut that's been placed above the pickerel hang out. Corn Nug
  18. I'm heading to the Bay early February with Sherriff and some other hooligans. I was wondering if anyone up that way could let me know how the thickness/depth is coming along. We're going to Hyatt's so if anyone knows if he's got huts out now...... Thanks Corn Nug
  19. I like the cut of your jib snag. That is an excellent idea. What do you say Admin??? Corn Nug
  20. That was hilarious! Man the world wide wed is a strange place..... Corn Nug
  21. Watched that the other day too GCD. That guy's pretty slick with a blade! I also came across this vid..... Love the music http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fe1kwXD69BI Corn Nug
  22. Thanks for sharing Dan. I might just have to pic a few up for me and the lads prior to our annual Algonquin trip. They will surely out perform the good old garbage bag. Where'd you pick them up? Corn Nug
  23. Nice job guys! The perch xrap has also been doing well for me when targeting pike. The same technique you mentioned worked well in the frigid water. Long pause, super slow retreive. I lost two yesterday and one today. This weather could spell the end of soft water pike until spring though. I checked out your episodes of Action Angling yesterday and I must say you have quite the show there. I'm not sure how far you are looking to persue it but I've got a buddy that can produce, film and edit who might be interested in taking it to the next step. Corn Nug
  24. Great intro MuskieRus. Welcome aboard, good group of people with a lot of knowledge on this board. I'm sure you'll fit right in. Corn Nug
  25. Don't worry you'll get familiar with the changes Northwood. In my opinion this board is a lot better in many ways than the old one. Corn Nug
