I would suggest you look for just a boat then head over to Angling outfitters and have your boat rigged up for you people try and get as much as they can for the old stuff when its a package deal Jos will set you up and it will be for what you need not what was on the boat you go in tell him what you are fishing for and what bodies of water he will set you up and you will not have any problems if you do he will replace or fix stuff right away not Bull here he is the man and stands behind what he does. I bought a 1994 a couple seasons ago and it has been a amazing boat you can find some older boats in great shape and alot better deals then what that person wants (I know you passed on it) the winter is here and this is the time to buy with Christmas and lack of work in some areas you will find a better deal and I bet even a steal. but consider going with out all the works and add on later. even a kicker later will save you $$$ One other thing you dont need a pass port to go into the USA get the up graded drivers licence and your good to go.

Has anyone tried these? I was over in MI today at a meijer and saw a cop cruising the parking lot I asked if something was wrong he said no but they patrol like this every year due to high amounts of brake in's on cars he was still there when I came out this was in a small town in MI so I guess all other crime was solved

I have been a KISS fan since the mid 80's actually it was 1984 or 85 when my sisters friend left animalize tape at the house after one of her parties I claimed it for my self and was hooked ever since. I am not a KISS NUT but still like to listen to them Gene has never been shy about wanting to make as much $$$ as he can and has had the KISS logo on everything since they first started so its not a new thing that they want $$$. I must say it sucks that the show was put off until a later date that happens (I will miss Slayer and Megadeth) in Feb as they had to change the date from Nov and I am away the weekend that the show is in Feb that does not mean I hate the bands I still have floor tickets for teh Feb show that the brother in law might use at least he will have a good time. The wife and I saw KISS in Windsor and it was a great show if they make it there this summer suck it up and go see them they still put on one heck of a great show. I had a pickerel Walleye or what ever you want to call it done by Advance this year it was for my father and turned out amazing I gave it to him and he is so excited I will be going back to them again and again they have done just about anything you can imagine stop by there shop and visit them they will talk to you all day and will not steer you wrong. here is a musky that they had ready to go when I was there and the rare toothless musky

Ryan I know that BPS has them in Ohio I use them alot with the other gulp stuff some times I will just use the tail or the body mix it up always works great when the bite slows down you can even bie regluar gulp down just remember that if it has metal flake in it IT IS METAL and hurts like anything when it gets stuck between a couple teeth.

One other thing I will be using this year is the quick snaps like this but smaller ones I have here http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/template...&hasJS=true As for maggots any tackle store will have them I like the small spikes in stead of the bigger ones some days it pays to have colored ones.

I see how these things go Ron usually does a great job at planning things around times I will not be able to attend LOL I would love to come and join ya all but the Belle River chapter of MCI will be at the Chatham sportsman show promoting the musky fishing around here and also trying to get the word out about taking kids fishing and family fun. check this site out they have alot of good stuff you can get at a local store or order from them I have not placed a order there but do like the following http://www.customjigsandspins.com/icefishi...ewproducts.html Diamond Jig 'Gill Pill VERTIGLOW JIGS Frisbee Jig all in different colors let the fish tell you what they want I also like to take the north land jigging spoons or other thin light spoon take the hook off add a little bit of gold chain (I got it from dollarama in the craft section) maybe 2" or so then a small hook tip it with a spike or gulp crappie bit and your good as gold. If I get around to getting my ice gear out this weekend I will post some pics but I must clean out the musky gear first from the boat the season is over as the river has frozen and the boat launches are the same here now.

Just remember if you use a life jacket with the heavy winter suit it will suck up alot of water and sink ya even with the life jacket unless its rated for more weight then you will become after being in the water for a while

I have the HH (Helly hansen) delta and it is warm enough for me to sit out side all winter on the river here last year we had some major cold days where my only problem is my finger's were freezing but I was warm in the suit I do know a couple people who have the Alpha from HH and say its to warm for fishing in southern Ontario. Check out Angling outfitters they have them for great prices I know they were around $200 last year at the fishing show give the store a call.

Dang Wayne next time I will take a pic and show ya hows its really done this time of year with the mini van I have no trouble launching and always hope my buddy is home so he can pull me out with his big Dodge was very glad he was home last weekend heck its no effort for him at all and with the extra length my stuck van gives he does not need to go down the launch. Maybe I need to invest in a 4X4 next season.

I here ya Bob that is what I did I bought my jacket at Caballas last year some one just put this post back to the top. I did buy the lighter duty BPS gortex suit this summer as the Jacket I bought was way to warm for summer rain I would sweat in seconds this fall I would wear the BPS bibs and my caballas jacket and was never cold or wet.

Tj I will have the wife send a check out this weekend also The OFC family has always come through for its members I guess that is why so many great friend's have found each other on this site if it were not for this site I would not know half of the people I fish with. I have never looked for a center pin reel before but I know one thing if yer heading to Angling outfitter you will be glad you did hope ya had fun on the trip over there

Great idea Steve here is my favorite Bass pic she would have been right around 5lbs or so but the camera takes a few pounds off for FISH only (save the F,F comments everyone ) as you can tell the girls were having no fun at all AS for favorite fish recipes I dont eat fish but mom and dad love fish crisp original then pan fired in butter for perch. For trout he sticks with crushed ritz crackers dip the fish into egg wash then into crushed crackers (dont for get to add pepper to the crackers) pan fry in butter till golden.

Tyler I had some problems last season with my merc and Jim from Merrit marine said to choke the hell out of it on start up as they dont like to be cold at all since then I have used my choke full and keep choking it until it runs smooth on just the idle. also do you take you boat for a FULL throttle run after trolling all day? if not try that I know it helps me out after fishing 6-8hours on idle. Dang Mark sorry to here that sorry for your guys loss some times I think my kids get tired of me telling them how much I love them but one day they will understand how much I really do love them the wife just thinks I am trying to get out fishing again.

There was also one in Woodstock WTH is wrong with theses people if it were not for teh vets they would not be here to do this I would like to see there hands cut off for this stuff that might makes otehrs think twice next time. the night before Nov 11th here's anger in Woodstock after two swastikas were painted on the city's cenotaph overnight, marring the Remembrance Day ceremony. Although crews tried to remove it, remnants of the swastikas were still visible when veterans and others arrived for the morning ceremony. Woodstock's fire chief says he's disgusted by the crime and calls the incident "very disappointing." There's no word on possible suspects. Police are continuing to investigate.
