Thanks guys, I had a brain fart, it is 8MB, I went and got a 8GB card! Doh! Is it true all way points are lost after the upgrade???

Has anyone downloaded the software upgrade for a Lowrance GPS/Sonar ? The website says an 8GB SD card in needed, I picked one up and its a SD-HC which is all thats available at those sizes. The download went well, I attemped to upgrade the antenna software first but the Unit(LMS-332C) doesn't read anything on the SD card??? I took it back in the house and put it back in the card reader and the computer shows the software is there...I'm thinking the unit won't read that card?

With the proper cold weather(water) gear and a buddy its not. I wouldn't recomend paddling alone at any time of year, especially now.

I have a Millionaire 300-CVZ, about 4 seasons on it and works great. A Daiwa Luna or a St Croix are similar.

There are Muskie in all parts of the Great Lakes...Whether or not they are there in enough quantity to make fishing for them worthwhile, thats another story.

My non-expert opinion would be use apoxy, amazing stuff! For an expert opinion go to an outdoors store that deals in Kevlar boats.

Well, the problem with inexpensive Muskie gear, rods, reels,etc. is that it doesn't stand up to the punishment it gets...You get what you pay for...

I've said it before but there's a big difference between inland boating and Great Lakes boating. The Great Lakes aren't to be underestimated!!! They will kick your if you don't respect them!!!

Asking this question is an indication that you shouldn't be out boating on the Great Lakes, stick to smaller inland waters till you become more experienced!
