  7. Dan, I will hopefully be on the big Lake Sat chasing Chinnys.
  8. Need company, have boat. Pm me if interested. Dax
  9. We have a huge raffle table and an incredible silent auction with custom lures, guided trips, fishing gear, etc. All proceeds raised by Muskies Canada will directly impact the Muskie fishery in Ontario, an example of this would be the over 3000 7-10 inch fall fingerling stocked into Lake Simcoe in '07 an '08.
  10. The Muskies Canada 2009 Muskie Odyssey is less than 2 weeks away! Don't miss this bi-annual Muskie Fest! Lots of great speakers, and tons of Muskie Tackle in one building! http://www.muskiescanada.ca/whats_new/odyssey.php
  11. Shimano TDR rod. Okuma Convector 30 linecounter.
  12. Lew, You're never out of line when reminding us how lucky we are our kid(s) are healthy and still with us. Gerritt and Davis...Can't imagine... Davis, I had heard about you losing Connor, I wanted to send you an email or call, but I didn't even know what to say...
  13. Amazing report. If paradise could possibly be in the arctic, thats it!
  14. You won't mind the extra power on windy days, or the extra 6 inchs when your fishing in wavy conditions. I have a 55PD on my 16 footer, its barely enough power and my 48" shaft is not long enough half the time. The depth is adjustable, the head being up a few inches won't matter. I would definatety go with the 55, and if that used one is a good deal don't let the extra shaft length stop you.
  15. 53 stories? I thought is was 58? I worked across the street at that other big building with the onion on the top!...Which doesn't seem so big now... Cool pics!
  16. I will be there Saturday representing the Hamilton Chapter of Muskies Canada.
  17. I have a 16 foot alum. with a 90 4-stroke, I can troll down to about 2.2 mph, to get it any slower I have to trim it up, or throw out the buckets!
  18. Brian and Steve at JB's offer excellent service! I never hesitate to spend my money there!
  19. Great work, looks excellent!
  20. I think Jim(Mistyriver) does.
  21. Jim, I can't believe you're holding that poor Bass vertically in your avatar pic!!! You obviously have no regard for the poor thing!!!
  22. I don't know anything about that model, nor do I fish from a Kayak, but I have paddled a few down the odd river...Its a inexpensive entry model i'm guessing, If you buy it and decide its not for you... Or If you decide fishing by kayak is where its at, I bet you'll be buying a nicer more expensive model down the road. Either way you will probably be able to sell that one on OFC and recoup most of your money.
  23. Did I mention I'm tired of seeing those bumper stickers?
  24. You'll like that Nissan, I have an 05 Xterra and an 08 Altima. Everytime I see that bumper stick that says, "Out of a job yet? Keep buying foreign" I feel like having one made that says, "Out of a job yet?, keep making overpriced lesser quality vehicles"
  25. All creatures(including us) deserve the curtesy of a bonk on the head prior to being fileted!
