  1. Great way to score a good deal on a nice shack.
  2. My beast...'13 Sierra 5.3. It's too bad its getting so hard to find a half ton in a extra cab/long bed configuration. Guess I'll have to spend a lot of time with this one. It's got a Flowmaster super 10 exhaust setup with Gibson headers and a custom Diablosport 91 octane tune, and just a 2" front level and 33" rubber for some extra clearance. Think I'm done with the engine work but id like to add an extra leaf sometime soon. Don't like the rear end sag when my snowmobiles in the box.
  3. I use the website on my Nokia Lumia no problems, and used the app on my iPhone, also never an issue, surprisingly enough
  4. Nick, your little carrot top is gettin raised right!
  5. Wow, what a ridiculously awesome big water machine. Congrats on you new rig
  6. How badly do people need to catch 2 pound bass?
  7. My goal is to fish like hell until my daughter is born!!! Oh, and a speck topping 5 lbs is really my only goal this year other than exploring some new remote waters
  8. Always nice to see hunters getting blasted by fellow outdoorsman for participating in a legal, sustainable harvest of an animal. Try telling a farmer they have no right to shoot brazen coyotes damaging their livestock herds. Do any of you buy local meat? It's a little late in the game for that kind of idealism. Coyotes will forever be a part of Ontarios rural and urban landscape, and a harvest of the more fearless animals is nothing to fret about I'm not particularly fond of killing animals for reasons other than meat either, but for many it is necessary given their location and/or lifestyle. Guess they should pack up and move to the GTA with you guys, then we can all cry foul together when a poor little coyote gets shot.
  9. Is there anything out there to suggest that there even is radioactive contamination on site?
  10. Hearing rumblings of a year round bass season in zone 11. Hoping we see this come to fruition for 2016. Slightly off topic, sorry
  11. I remember seeing some absolute gigantosaurus redhorse suckers in great lakes tribs
  12. If they are stocked then sure. Many of the pot lakes around here were stocked with bass by local boneheads back in the 80's and it took a couple years for the lakes brookie populations to completely vanish, mind you this is paired with overharvest from anglers as well, but yes smallies will have notably negative effects on brook trout populations. Obviously they coexist just fine with lakers.
  13. You should try fly fishing with that setup, just make sure someone's videotaping at the time
  14. These batch were done in a simple coating of fish crisp and fried in hot butter, but I also like cubing them and boiling in salt water and serving with garlic butter. Either way its fantastic. They're definitely smaller than the nipissing fatties
  15. My thoughts are that I'm glad I just moved across the river into Quebec! Going to be very tough to get a moose tag in Ontario now
  16. MoS you found the motherload. Would love to find a good run around here and make a few batches of canned suckers.
  17. Had a fantastic fry...yeah Blair we were in that area
  18. Well, the only open water around here is the Ottawa riv, and with it still being at winter levels (about 10 feet down) it was a nice easy walk to where we suspected we'd find the fish. We fished from 10-1 with salties on the bottom and had a blast reeling in ling one after another while we kept the fire stoked and the mugs full. Was awesome to use a long rod again for the first time in too long and the fish fry tonight will be epic!
  19. Have you played around with your idle screw at all? Something to consider if your motor is carbureted. Not sure how it works on EFI
  20. Yup that's an awesome day of spring fishing!
  21. Haha, I was thinking the same thing... Nice work Chris, didn't realize you were getting into hunting
  22. I have one of those. Not something you'd use unless you were targeting big kings, muskies, or saltwater fish
  23. The only mixed feelings are from people that haven't checked themselves. lol. It's 100% zone 17 but I guess it's better to hear it straight from the horse's mouth than some guy on the internet. Oshawa I don't know, never checked.
  24. WHITBY HARBOR IS ZONE 17! Fish away . There are plenty of pike there
  25. There are xrap countdowns, which are new models, and clackin cranks are slow sinkers, but the countdown is the original sinking rap, unless you're referring to lipless baits
