My definition of snagging, is finishing up your drift with a little bit of a hookset. Flossing is tossing your rig out there waiting for something to swim into it. Mouth, tail, ass, whatever. To me it doesn't matter where it's hooked. Still flossing.

One of my big regrets is not guiding when I was younger. Sure you're not much of a guide when you're fishing lakes teaming with walleye and pike, but still it would have been fun.

I bring both to the river. Hardware rod and float rod. Fish will tell me what they want for the day. I gotta say though, all my big big fish have come on hardware in the fall.

I got my permit at Island Gas and Variety. It's about halfway to Depot. You can also ask the guys at the fishery as well for some, they're pretty cool.

If washing lures is your goal, then definitely go out to Parry Sound salmon fishing. I know a guy that's fished PS for 20+ years, he's boated exactly 1 salmon in the sound off the Salt docks. Closest place would be the mouth of 12 Mile Bay downrigging.

Bass will definitely be suspended over deep water chasing bait. Go to your summer spots and move deeper and keep an eye on the graph. Live sucker minnows are deadly. Also big vertical jigging spoons will work as well.

Pretty much. I'll be happy with round 2 of the playoffs. Anything further then that is gravy.

If you wanna fish escapees then you're best bet is to buy fish food from the store on the res before going in. Also, you'll wanna chum those stupid things as well. Anyone else catching anything? Usually it's either hot or dead.

No salmon in the sound and lakers close as of midnight tonight. Bass will probably be deep chasing bait. Tough gig without a boat but ya never know.

Nice man! I was out hunting skis the other day. Had one blow up because I wasn't paying attention like an idiot (didn't figure 8 that one cast and paid for it) Although I did get a nice bucket on a double 10! lol. That was a bit of a shocker.

I send my 3 Shimano Calais and my Antares AR to them, along with a Sustain 1000 FE and a Sustain 2500 FE every year. The amount they've replaced and not charged me for is insane. And that fact that these are platinum level reels I get them back in no time. I'll never send them anywhere else.

I saw so many floaters down in PH a few weeks ago when I was down there.. Insane. That's what happens when you're fishing the soup.
