  1. Yup, like Raf said FM transmitter is the easiest way to go. They should have 4 separate frequencies to choose from also if you encounter interference...
  2. Dave, I think we saw run rise just after 5am and sunset at just past 10pm while up at the camp a week ago. Pretty cool to have that much daylight... More time for fishing!
  3. Ask the guy with the iPhone on Rogers that couldn't get signal past North Bay on our recent trip to Nakina.. lol CDMA is still better in the boonies, GSM isn't even a competitor.
  4. LOL!!! Ah well, I've been on a few fishing trips that I didn't do much fishing on either Glad you folks had a good time.
  5. So where are all the fish? (I assume still swimming in the lake? )
  6. I picked up about a dozen two weeks ago fishing slashbaits in about 8-14ft of water with lots of weeds.
  7. Great choice on the reel! Should be a workhorse for sure.
  8. This forum is going downhill fast. Now a guy can't even post up a sales event at a local tackleshop to hopefully save a few people here some $$$? The rubes should just shut up and say thank you or say nothing at all.
  9. As long as you plan on using it in urban areas you'll be fine. Take out of the city and anywhere even remotely considered wilderness and you'll have crap for signal.
  10. Ugh, I gotta get up there this summer with my float gear!!
  11. Hide behind a tree and shoot the buggers, that would be a fantastic surprise!!! .....then bury them
  12. It was a joke (ie the guys looked slap happy drunk)
  13. LOL!!! How much beer was out in that boat?
  14. I'm no angel, I've caught my fair share of oos bass this season while fishing for pike. But it's not to hard to figure out where the bass are and avoid those spots in the future. What gets me is nailing two largies in 14ft of water with weeds about half way up.. Personally I think they were already done with the spawn, which is a really great sign.
  15. Nice! I lived in St.Catharines for 26 years before moving up here to Barrie. Fished Erie quite a bit with the oldman for smallmouth. Wasn't very popular back then, which was nice
  16. Wayne, if I'm ever down that way I'll definitely take you up on your offer. I've never even BEEN in a bass boat, how sad it that? lol
  17. I think the muskie told you what they wanted, it definitely wasn't a bucktail traveling at 50mph
  18. I don't care if they were in a kayak, tossing docks for 'pike' with 2in bodybaits on the first Saturday in June paints a pretty clear picture Everyone knows where the pike are this time of year, it's really no secret. It's not like they were rubes either, so I can't even buy the excuse that they had no idea what they were doing. But whatever, everything I saw them catch (none of them were pike) went all back in the lake. The opening/closing of bass season is a debate for another thread
