  1. I have the Garmin 60csx, but if you want it for road and trail as well, the Oregon series is much better. Not to mention the fact that the GPSMap series (60,76, etc) do not handle multiple maps on the same sim card well at all. The higher end Oregon series with more internal memory will allow you to rename the mapsets to 3 seperate file names that the GPS will recognize (gmapsupp, gmapprom and another I forget) which basically means you'll be able to go into the setup and pick which map you want to use... In order to switch maps on the 76 and 60, you need separate sim cards or you'll be doing it manually via computer before you head out on the road.
  2. I know someone who needs a boat real bad!!!!! (But he just bought a new TDI, lol)
  3. Who gives a crap about the overall derby, have you seen the weekly prizes? lol
  4. Salmon lay eggs in the lake? Who knew?
  5. I would have tied the damn thing to a stringer and slept in the boat for 2 days
  6. Ah yeah, I always get those two mixed up (the names at least).. Cabelas at the old fairgrounds would be awesome, but if you think that intersection at Essa/400 is bad now, lol..
  7. I much prefer the barren ugliness of the current dirt hole then say a nice green space. .....oh wait..... we already had the greenspace!!!! I'd love to strangle the people that though destroying that park was a good idea.. It's been what, 2-3 years and it still sits there and looks like crap?
  8. Doug we saw the same sort of thing as well. Half digested 12in whitefish out of a smallish walleye, lol... That river is teaming with whitefish...
  9. The HST is a horrible excuse. I would guess the real reason is that people don't wanna pay an extra $0.XX per litre for some kid to spill gas all over their car...
  10. I'd get it jumped, drive it around a bit and see if the battery holds a charge enough to get it restarted.
  11. Whitefish, lots and lots of whitefish. These fish are also extremely old, they aren't growing that much per season.
  12. Commercial netting has been happening in Lake Erie for a long long time. Obviously with the way the walleye fishery is currently, it's not having a negative impact as it once was...
  13. Ron, how's the water level out on the big lake? From the looks of it, I'd say down 2ft or so?
  14. That spot wasn't bad, but not much to hold the fish there except for that current break. The one spot I fumbled onto produced 6, 40inch fish in a single evening.. I think I pulled 3 or 4 out of there over 40inches.. Insanity.
  15. I'm extremely close to the fire station just west of Ardagh/Ferndale.
  16. Those bird shots are awesome!!!!
  17. If I'm going to Colorado, I'm definitely not fishing for those over sized goldfish!!
  18. I make one turn onto Ardagh and it's a straight shot for me
  19. I'm like 3 blocks away from the new store, both you guys will be eating my dust!!!!
  20. I still don't understand why you guys don't wear gloves, allergic or not there is no stink on my hands when I'm done cleaning fish, lol.
  21. I dunno if I'd call MEC a 'big box store' It's run a bit differently then you average Walmart for example. I'm sure Sojourns loyal customers also won't be going anywhere. They have some great stuff, but unless you are buying something during a wicked sale, you're paying way to much.
  22. No way, calling that fight would have sucked. After all those blows Lesnar was relatively unscathed.. I wanted Carwin to win also, but do it fair and sqaure.. Carwin gassed and couldn't take advantage of the situation.
  23. I don't think I've ever known someone named Gerritt (well except for you, lol).. I lived in St.Catharines for 28 years, 2 years in Hamilton for college, been up in Barrie ever since Maybe we scrapped it out in minor hockey when I was younger? lol
  24. Gimme a custom AT pin over that anyday!!!
  25. That's the fun part of fishing up north, dodging the bats at night!! lol
