Only thing I extremely dislike about the 500 is the lack of a fullsized spare, the donut is a joke. My neighbour is an older gentleman and asked me if I could swap the donut out for him for one of his snow tires. So I just did all 4 instead He said he didn't feel comfortable with the 1hr drive ahead of him on the donut, I don't blame him.

If you are coming from the north, make sure you fish HoneyMoon Island State Park on your way down. Jig heads with half a shrimp will get you all kinds of things.

My DSLR hasn't made a river trip yet (Sans the small water like the Upper Credit).. I just don't trust myself, lol. I've ordered up a AquaPac so I can at least bring along the body with the nifty fifty and kit lens and keep it completely dry. No way the L lens will fit into the waterproof casing, but that's ok, it should be great for fish pics!

Nope, bought it new along with a 4 year replacement warranty.. Best thing about L glass is you don't take to much of a hit when selling it. It really holds its value.
