The previous gen Kuro are still the best plasma you can get, even compared to the VT's... I haven't heard much about the Samsungs except for that they like to buzz....alot! (I have only used the SD slot about 5-6 times, lol)

Edge lit LED's are garbage, has anyone actually seen one in person? I had a Sharp Aquos LED Quattron for maybe a total of 8hrs before I returned it for a 50in Panasonic VT Series.. Not even close in comparison.. As far as picture quality is concerned, plasma still takes the cake over both LCD and LED. More vivid colours, better black levels etc.. Best bang for the buck TV's right now are definitely Plasmas...

Excellent choice. My TDI has 553,000kms on it and has shown no signs of giving up yet. Stick with the recommended oil change intervals, the correct oil (Dealer sourced VW507) and the maintenance schedule and she'll last you a long long time.

Ariens are great, unless you have one of the better models with the cable control for the chute. It gets cold, they freeze and they completely stop working. I can't believe there isn't a recall on it.. Everyone I know with one of the higher end models has this problem.. Other then that, you can't beat them. I'm glad I got the 820 model, no cables to freeze up, just a manual crank to turn the chute...

Both my cats are de-clawed and still have their first digits. There are a few new methods out there that don't require the entire first digit removed (kinda like removing the top section of your finger).. Only the half that housed the nail was removed, got them done the same time I had them spayed/neutered. No worse for the wear, were playing like idiots when I brought them home from the vet.. I'm definitely a cat person, dogs are way to needy... I can leave them home for 1-2days with sufficient food/water and I don't have to worry about them. Perfect for someone if you are living by yourself.

Only thing I extremely dislike about the 500 is the lack of a fullsized spare, the donut is a joke. My neighbour is an older gentleman and asked me if I could swap the donut out for him for one of his snow tires. So I just did all 4 instead He said he didn't feel comfortable with the 1hr drive ahead of him on the donut, I don't blame him.
