  1. The walleye is pretty much non-stop up there, basically we fish for them when we are taking a break from pike fishing.
  2. BBP has zero. Well unless you wanna count the first 100ft of ice off the bank, lol.
  3. Dude, you gotta give me your number if you want me to call you :)
  4. Not going out on Simcoe yet, I have another place with 6+ inches of ice that I've been fishing.
  5. Lower Niagara right now? Big ass emerald shiners..
  6. Ah so they are only a 'little bit' guilty because they hunted all week and got nothing?
  7. The other add they had was 'Nothing throws a bulldog like a St.Croix' with a giant pissed off bulldog attached to the line via his harness. I wish people wouldn't take crap so literally. I can't imagine what's running through someones head who's actually getting MAD at an ad like that.
  8. Huh? If you shoot a moose out of season, it's poaching, I dunno how much simpler it gets.
  9. Great pics Joey! I wanted to stay up, but work would have been a bear the next morning (As it seems it was for you! lol)
  10. I gotta pick up the casting deck for mine and I'd be all set. Going to use it this summer for back lake bass fishing, should be a riot. Not to mention all the sneaky spots Mr.Wallace and I will be into in the spring
  11. The Niagara is loaded with browns right now. Accessible from either the Canadian or US side.
  12. I just got a Canada Outdoors magazine and some guy sent in a pic of a 12.3lb 25in bass, lol.. I about pissed my pants.
  13. Thanks man, I'm just waiting for the whities and lakers this year out on Simcoe. Can't wait!!!
  14. Crap, I forgot to mention the tin foil!!!!!!!!! lol
  15. A nice fat striploin, blue/rare.. I've been cooking my steak in the oven as of late with a cast iron skillet. I gotta say it rivals the BBQ... Pre-heat oven to 500 degrees with the skillet inside. Steak needs to be room temp with a little salt/pepper. Take skillet out of oven and place over high heat on burner, 30 seconds on one side, then back in the oven for 1 mins. Flip and another 1 minute, then rest for 5 mins before cutting into it. Perfect steak.
  16. Was already out and laid a nice little beating on some jumbos Going out again very soon. A good 6inches of ice where I was, no problems.
  17. Cloudy here in Barrie, I hope it clears up.
  18. For my car at least it lubes the injection pump. ULSD doesn't have the same lubricity as old LSD used to, so I need to make sure all the expensive parts stay lubricated. I know guys that add in a bit of BioDiesel(B20,B50) to each tank with the same effect... All depends on the type of diesel though, the new common rail engines found in the new TDI's are completely different beasts then the Bosch VE rotary pump engine found in my car I wouldn't recommend adding in premix with those engines (They don't need it) BTW, my TDI is at 553,000kms and running stronger then ever
  19. I always add 2oz of 2stroke premix per tank in my TDI. Truck gets straight gas nothing else.
  20. #22, Ken Baumgartner Got an autographed jersey hanging up in my office.
  21. Signs are up for a reason, I've been nailed by them once when I first moved to Barrie. Never again though.
  22. Best advice I can tell you is that even if you find fish, if they aren't active move on. I dunno how many times I've been above a giant school of whitefish only for them to barely sniff and not show much interest. It's all about moving until you find a school of active fish.
