  1. Been searching Walleye Central as well.. Lots and lots of big tillers! (Looking for a full windshield)
  2. YOU JUST SPOILED THE ENTIRE LAKE ONTARIO STEELHEAD FISHERY BY POSTING PICS FROM THAT SUPER DUPER SECRET SPOT!!!!! Nice fish dude!
  3. Mike runs standard laces on his Simms boots if I'm not mistaken (I rarely watch him suit up, lol!!!) I run standard laces on my Simms G4 Guideboots and no complaints. Although I dunno how the BOA system would handle all the rocks/mud/sand/crap it would encounter.
  4. Well it looks like the deal will be sealed this weekend for our Legend tiller. Now it's time to find something new! Even with the exchange you can't touch the prices down in the US (Sorry Canadian boat dealers!) and my oldman doesn't want to spend a fortune. I'm hoping to do a private sale (more haggle room) and am wondering what resources you guys have used to find your boats? I have been searching SiteMash a bit, but lots and lots of dealers. We don't mind driving to get a great deal and I already am familiar with the process required to bring it back over the border (Imported my oldmans Duramax from Florida).. If anyone could recommend some places for me to look, I'd appreciate it!
  5. Any chance the OP was reading Kpa and not PSI on the tire gauge? :)
  6. No way the pressure doubled. You might see a few psi at most (10% as mentioned before) when hot vs cold.
  7. Boot foots are good when it's super cold, but you'll sweat your balls off using those in the fall. They are absolutely NOT breathable, lol.
  8. Could be the charger, I had one die on me as well with my portable ice kit. The battery kits are like $35 from Radioworld. Come with a new battery + charger.
  9. We've got a 40hp 4stroke Honda tiller (BF40) that's been the best motor we've ever owned. Other then fogging it each winter and changing the bottom end oil, that's all it's ever required. Never left us stranded, always has started. I'm kinda sad we are actually selling it, lol!
  10. Gerritt, half a shrimp on a decent sized jighead will get you all kinds of stuff. This is all I use in Florida and make out pretty good. Have fun man!
  11. I would probably feed it to the raccoons.
  12. 5wt.
  13. I drive in to Mississauga from Barrie daily. 400 > 401W > 403. It sucks.
  14. I think the annual Fishing for Tyler event draws a wackload of OFC members.
  15. Great report!!! The Otter is awesome eh?
  16. Yeah, it's a type of fly. The fish I caught tonight are residents, which means they reside in the river all year round. They don't live in the lake, then come in to spawn like the steelhead do. However, I'm sure they migrate throughout the entire system depending on the season.
  17. Like any other fish pike will be fattening up for the winter. Big baits, find the weed/rock edges and hold on!
  18. I needed one over 20 man, I wasn't expecting that brute! LOL!!!
  19. Canon 60D with a 10-22mm UWA lens. To be honest, I was hoping my buddy Dave was going to make it out, but the stars didn't align. It's tough taking decent pics by yourself, lol. timmeh: Big streamer was the ticket!
  20. GPS co-ordinates to follow, lol!!!!
  21. I was searching Ebay for a 100-400 the other day, lol!!! To funny that this thread pops up!! Awesome pics Joey! A tripod will definitely help when your in the 250mm + range as will the IS.
  22. Not much takes my breath away, but a big bullet butterscotch brownie does! Crappy pics, but I wasn't in very ideal conditions to break out the DSLR. Big fish measured in at just under 24inches. My PB when it comes to resident browns. Long, lean and definitely mean! Went 2 for 2 on the night, other one measured in just under the 20inch range.
  23. I find that largemouth usually slurp a topwater down without much of a commotion. Smallmouth on the other hand like to come over the top, then all hell breaks loose, lol!
  24. Did you bring the fishing rod Brian? lol!!!!
