  1. Craig, I thought StarCraft got out of the fishing game and were strictly doing pontoons?
  2. Awesome Tyler!!!
  3. Those things are far beyond sharpening, lol. Once you cut a hole, put the cover back on and leave it be.
  4. I don't think smart tabs are going to help plane a 14ft tiller when it's loaded up with 4 guys + gear. You're simply running out of omph.
  5. Fish can feel pressure drops, even when they're below the ice
  6. No it works great, but with that size diameter line you really should be crimping it.
  7. What are you using 80lb flouro for?
  8. Nagagami is on the Garmin Inland Lakes chip. (Although you can only run these maps on a Garmin unit) http://www8.garmin.com/cartography/inland/canada_lists/Ontario.pdf
  9. 6am. Agreed on the big scoops as well.
  10. People are driving all over Simcoe.
  11. If I'm running R-bend spinnerbaits, then an improved clinch it is with a flouro or mono lead..
  12. Been a hard sell all season it seems.
  13. Triple surgeons knot.
  14. Improved clinch for mono and flouro Uni-Uni for any type of braid > leader knot in which I don't use a barrel swivel. Palomar for straight Braid to swivel/snap. Nanofil knot (or double Palomar as I like to call it) for Nanofil. Leader to tippet (flyfishing) double surgeons.
  15. You have to switch cards.. Some units have dual card readers, in which case you run two at the same time. No big deal swapping cards though, takes about 3 seconds.
  16. Gold will cover all the great lakes, Gbay, trent/severn etc. It won't have inland lakes. You'll need Hotmaps for that. I run both in my 898 (Gold+ and Hotmaps)
  17. Sounds like the battery is toast, time to get a new one.
  18. What's all in Lormier? Have never fished it, always wanted to.

Talked to a buddy who makes a living with his camera. I asked him the same question, (Sigma vs Canon).. He let me know that the Sigma is extremely slow to focus during action shots... Stills, not a problem... I think I'll be getting the Canon.
  21. I think Ray Charles could have stopped that shot, lol. Ah well, stealing a point like that I'll take!
  22. lol no. You don't think people catch steelhead/salmon through the ice?
  23. That's a lot of muskies! Those tigers look outstanding!
  24. I'd probably remove the name of the lake from your post, unless you want 100 of your best friends besides you the next time you go out
