I didn't find the conditions on Simcoe that bad yesterday when I went for a quick fish at around 2pm. There was a bit of slush, but nothing crazy. Although I guess it depends on where you were.

Biggest mistake I think people make is putting way too much pressure on the blades. My 8in Fin-Bore III cuts through the ice like butter, no need to stop and clear anything no matter how thick the ice. The entire point of the auger is to clear all that cut ice up and away from the blades. I also don't just toss it on the ice when I'm done. The cover goes on as soon as I'm done, probably why I haven't needed to sharpen it in 4+ years.

That is weird.. The x67 is a great little finder for the ice.

I love the show but don't need the sermon at the end, so I just switch the station.

If your unit is low on wattage, the interference from the other finders is going to ruin your day. Especially the flashers.

Awesome man! Importing our Lund from Michigan was painless, it really is a simple process. Just need to make sure you know what you need from the seller in order to bring it over legally. I think we were in customs for maybe 10mins when bringing it across at the Sault.
