  1. I'm surprised anyone is considering LeBarons a 'Big Box Store' I remember going to that place as a kid, always a good time. Their online system should have been revamped years ago, make things easy for people and they'll keep coming back.
  2. That's a pretty good bang for the buck pier rod to be honest.
  3. In that price range you'll get more bang for you buck in the used market.
  4. 18?!?! I wish! lol! A few years ago, I need to get that stupid pontoon back out!
  5. It really does suck trying to land them while in the toon, lol!! Good job Brian!
  6. Are bluegills that much better then crappies? I might try and keep a few for the gf.
  7. We don't keep the monsters and we don't keep the small ones. 8-10inches or so is what the oldman likes to eat.
  8. Watching planes hit the WTC. Oldman woke me up.
  9. Pretty much nailed it.
  10. We had something similar happen on White Otter. Had the Lund all tied up to a tree. I wake up at 3am to pee and it's gone... I walk over another 100ft and it's nestled in between two of our friends boats, lol! That could have gone really really wrong.
  11. Looking for a 14-15ft tinny for the oldman, electric start, deep V and stable. Let me know!

We do, it's just hard for him to launch alone. Wants something to compliment the big boat :)

Thanks John, I saw that. Price is out of wack though :)

  12. That first pic is hilarious! LOL!!!
  13. Don't be afraid to go shallower, I've nailed some monsters at 2-3am in 8ft of water or less bombing Moonshines from the boat Probably the most addicting hits of the season.. One minute you're just casually reeling in, the next all hell breaks loose as your trying to follow the fish so it doesn't spool you.
  14. One of my fav things to do, especially with the Toronto skyline in the back ground. Great write up.
  15. Early - shallow, later the day move deeper, evening go back shallow. Personally if you want some fish I'd run out to the bluezone and fish anywhere from 25-60ft down. Spoons, SD/flies, etc.
  16. Adjust the offset on your fish finder so it lines up. Some maps are worse then others.
  17. Al, I knew there must have been a reason, lol!
  18. Cracked one of the lenses on a pair of Maui Jims a few weeks ago, decided to drop by the store in Mississauga to see if they could swap them out for me. I've had previous repairs at this store and have nothing but great service. I go in, tell the girl what happened and also that the frames are peeling a bit. I sat down for about 30 seconds then she reappears with a brand new set of glasses. I ask how much and she says 'Nothing'. I told her the last time I was in, it was about $80 for a new set of lenses (Installed). She said that she was happy I was still a Maui Jim customer and there was going to be no charge today. Walked out with a brand new pair of glasses, as happy as a pig in ****. I've got no plans on ever buying another brand of sunglasses. Can't beat customer service like this.
  19. I never use snubbers on my dipsies. If you are snapping line you've either set the drag way too tight or there was an issue with the line itself (kink, fray, etc)
  20. I appreciate the offer bud! I'll have to make an excuse to get down that way.
  21. Ugh, I need two Group 31s and a new starting battery for the main., Those are some killer prices.
  22. Wait, I shouldn't be drinking this stuff?!?!?!??!
  23. Only if you buy in the US, stuff we get here is garbage.
  24. Gbay would be a good choice, lots and lots of camping available if you've got a boat.
  25. Sounds like we're both going to be having lots of fun, lol!
