  1. I thought the same thing, I was waiting for something to happen then I realized the movie was over.
  2. Is giving up the tying goal with 6 mins to go on your list? lol Anderson stood on his head, making Pitts go 0 for 5 on PPs is impressive.
  3. Details on the cottage? I'm possibly interested in a rental.
  4. Yamaha or Honda. I run a 1000W Yamaha and that's exactly what I use it for (Charging the trolling motor batteries).. It's quiet, runs for pretty much ever on a tank of gas and always starts without issue.
  5. You really need to find out what the cabin is already outfitted with before putting together a list. One thing I always like to bring is Baileys instead of cream/sugar for my coffee in the morning. Doesn't need to be kept cold.
  6. I'm sure I've gotten a few bad ones as well, but the ratio is so low I still keep using them. I wouldn't use them out on Lake O for big kings, but for everything else they seem to work just fine.
  7. The flat brimmed crew will like this stuff I'm sure, lol..
  8. Depends on what you're fishing for but I like to use XXXS barrel swivels to connect flouro (or mono leader) to braid.
  9. Now how much are you going to save hauling all that additional weight up there? If it's a few cents more, it totally makes sense to get it before you head into the bush.
  10. Bait casting reels - 15-20lb PP Float reels - 6lb Nano, 10lb Fireline Crystal (Depending on season) Salmon gear - 20lb Big game for the rigger rods, 65lb PP for the dispy rods Spinning gear - 6lb Nano (Depending on what I'm fishing), 4lb mono (Small trout setup) 6lb Fireline Crystal, 12lb PP. No flouro mainlines, I hate the stuff.
  11. I think the last time I made a trip up there I filled 17 cans before heading in, lol. Big runs for big fish.
  12. I'd be running gobie presentations if I was out on Simcoe going after lakers or whities. Those little swammers would awesome (Although I don't know if they still make them)... Icefishing jigs/spoons will work as well.
  13. If you're jigging for whities, you'll want a double anchor setup.
  14. It might allow enough for idle, but as soon as he goes WOT, not enough fuel.
  15. For pike no, but have you ever had a 30lb king smash a dipsy, scream 400yrds off line off before you can even get it out of the holder? lol it's a riot Funny you mention trolling for pike, but my biggest was taken trolling (48.5in)
  16. GPool is pretty well marked. Lots of bays, go explore.
