I have a HDS7 Gen 2 Touch unit and have a Navionics Premium card that works great.........just got the new unit in early March and had no problems with it reading that card or the Insight mapping that came with it. What HDS7 unit do you have. Maybe I can walk you through it......

Over the many years of using cork handle rods, especially if minnow are used like fishing for Lake Erie perch, I have found the very best way to clean the handle and the rest of the rod is to take it in the shower with you. A lite SOS pad on ONLY the cork will bring it back to new in about 1 minute and then using a wash cloth with soap will get most of the minnow scales off the rest of the rod. Don't use anything but soap and a wash cloth on the rod blank or you will take off the finish.

Electronics Network Humminbird with Ipilot
Mister G replied to DaveRoach's topic in General Discussion
I haven't had Humminbird equipment since the late 70's so I really can't be much help personally. However, look at these two links and you should get more then enough info. This is a GREAT forum for what you are looking for.....plus many other topics if you dig around, like boat trailers, trucks etc........good luck. http://www.bbcboards.net/forumdisplay.php?f=133 http://www.bbcboards.net/forumdisplay.php?f=128 -
You need to shop at Rockauto.com as these parts are less then half of what you are quoting. Did a lot of business with them and never had a problem.

What are you talking about. As if this was some kind of fishing forum.

Add 20 - 25% of the USA price and see what happens.

Just having a little fun at your expense........

I wouldn't do that because some of them might be better friends with the mechanic and get ahead of your car's repair, thus a even longer wait.

Price to pay to live way out in the country where everyone looks out for you......LOL

They have NO VHF radios but they do have depth finder with GPS ..........YEARS ago they didn't. And as far a damage, they will KILL you on that end...........DON'T damage anything and they will also COUNT all your silverware, plates, pans, etc.............they are not in business to have endless supplies of anything on the boat.........you will also be responsible for anchors and pipe poles, etc..............so keep a eye on everything.
-
I like heading east better, HOWEVER it has many more hazards then going west, especially in Stoney Lake.

Locks are the best place to dock at night.......and we also used some quiet coves to stay the night but you must be careful of winds and shallow water.

If Trump gets elected you could just keep heading south into Mexico, funny though, most of those folks are trying to get into the US.......go figure...
-
BTW I think Stoney Lake had better fishing, especially walleye and some muskie then heading up toward Fenlon Falls......but Fenlon Falls is one of the best picture perfect places in the Kawarthan's.

YES, we have house boated there 3 time and 2 times we towed a fishing boat behind us. If I remember correctly it's best to have someone in that boat while locking thru........HOWEVER, you will be charge for that boat to lock in and out as the houseboat lock pass only covers the houseboat. We took the same path you guys are talking about and you should have no problems with the extra boat. It tows very well behind the house boat. Good Luck and have LOTS of FUN..........

DEFINITELY have them balanced......less vibration on the trailer and now better mileage while towing and tires last longer.

Yep, Found On River Dead..........LOL........
