thanks wayne, I was gonna type the same
great Atlantics Bucktail, ill agree im skeptical of this programme as well, sure hope it does succeed, hate to see it all be waste
1st book might be all you need Eh,
it coveres all Dipys, Jets, and lead core dive curves
i believe the 2nd book covers Walker Deeper divers, copper lines & snap weights, though i have yet to see the 2nd book personally....
i went in '05 great show indeed, and I am not even a huge hardcore musky guy
i too wish it was scheduled earlier in winter... that is a prime weekend to be out for reel-peeling spring salmon
time & money are the two main things required to get in competitive fishing
now it all depends too on what main species you wish to fish for and as well what kind of boat motor you have
if you wanna just have some fun and not get totally serious then there are lots of low key derbys or one day tournies for many different species depending on the waterbodies tht are near you. For these a typical modest boat/motor would suit you well
fish are fish... geez
no probelm at all as long as its all legal which it appears to be
largies arent my preffered table species, but then again neither are muskie, but ive eaten them both legally....
get the Gold Chip as mentioned... yes it has St Clair
please post a review of that GPS after you put some hrs on it... im interested as to how well they will perform
thanks
maybe Josh at Angling Outfitters could help you?
usually its best just to replace the blades as its difficult to get them perfectly sharp again...
proper care and a little oil can surely prolong the life of original blades
hey Cliff
winter weekend Nip Trips have allways been a favourite of mine
though i dont think you ever attended.. i remember a few yrs ago there used to be an annual OFC Nip trip every January... not sure what happened....
nonetheless I hope your able to a get a crew together
for now I prefer the openess of a tiller - big open dance floor
im a multi species guy who fishes different ways on different waters - the tiller allows me to be versatile
ive been running the 16' Crestliner Canadian tiller for 5 seasons now... (they make the same model in other lengths too)
I am very happy with it
I use it for trolling Lake Ont & Erie and am very comfortable in it. I also use it on smaller lakes & have no problem launching it off a beach
The hull has a lifetime warranty & the 30hp 4stroke Johnson (tho its rated for 50hp max) pushes it at 30mph WOT.
wow 3 in a row for the "other" California Kid
im a huge Jimmy fan, but i do hope now that Jimmy & Jeff have had had there Glory, that its Jr's turn to finally be a serious threat
still dont really get why they signed Martin... ive got nothing against the guy at all, but really does he actually think he really has a chance at winning a race or two, let alone making the chase?
good thing about NASCAR though is the relatively short "off-season"
