nailed it its tough to beat trapping teams, but eventually a team good enough comes along and wins it...remember how pittsburgh was able to win the cup with a crappy D core and an average goaltender...thats how good they are. Sens have karlson...and a great system. Aside from that nothing stands out about them. Hence they never win. A bunch of 20 goal scorers an elite top line does not make.

enter Cam Fowler, Marc Edoird Vlasic....they exist, they just dont get the press because they dont score, they also dont let other teams score either. cant say i agree with your goalie comment matt...throw carey price infront of that D core and he will get scored on. Nothing about Nylander and Matthew's goals were "average"...very far from it. The trap can only get you so far, as we saw last year...you can get close but never actually complete the task unless its pre-lock out and you are the new jersey devils.

little better now with sealed sliders, but back on the 02 proteges, they simply had a boot over the sliders. I used to take them apart and lube them up twice year. Braking hard isnt going to do anything, you have to take the brakes apart and clean any rust out and then lube them regularly.

How does that happen off of a face off draw. You have two guys totally back and you win the draw and the puck ends up in your own net??? Ive seen that ish happen in beer league and its a complete disgrace, we lose our minds on our D men when it happens...but this is the friggin NHL! I play defense and the one thing you never ever ever do is when your D partner has the puck, you dont ever provide the opposition the opportunity to take the puck away from them and go on a breakaway. You expect a weird bounce or a fanned pass to happen ahead of time so that when your partner inevitably gets a bad bounce under pressure you are already back so that stone doesn't have a chance to walk in all alone, he got the puck off of your partner but now he also has to go through you. That play made me so friggin mad, I always kind of stood up for Gardiner, but now im just realizing the guy is a liability. Man the leafs need to upgrade their defense something fierce if they even hope to have a glimmer of a chance. Rumour mill says they are gonna scoop up vlasic...makes a lot of sense 30 year old, stay at home defenceman, played on team canada and had the second most minutes over the last olympics, babcock absolutely loves him. And lets get serious, the leafs have plenttttyyy of fire power up front, id rather have a defensive core of 6 guys that never score but allow a lot less goals against than a bunch of morgan riellys and jake gardiners.

anderson is not the problem...the Leafs D is terrible. Its a big big problem if they actually intend to contend...but none the less a problem that can be addressed with a few key moves. Thats the beauty of depth...you can afford to trade a piece that you have excess of to address an issue that you are short of. in this case, high end offensive talent is in abundance...a trade including an absolute stud prospect like kapenen and JVR could fetch a decent penny in the market. It sucks, especially losing a guy like kapenen but the guy needs to be playing in the NHL and the only reason he isnt is because he is young and his contract makes him easy to bury in the minors so you can hide him away from the cap. Trust me the leafs know what kind of chip they have in their hands to play. No dont tell me they will get a drew doughty type player...no one trades that, but maybe you could get a bonafied top line D man? There are 64 #1-2 d men in the league...someone might be willing to give a few of those away for the right prospects. Trust me it hurts but thats the price you pay to make a run. The style of play that the leafs play is going to give them 100points this season, but if the caps have taught the leafs anything, its that you cant win cups with a high powered offence. It might win the presidents trophy, but it doesn't win cups.

The helix 5 and 7 models only have one chip slot. I swap between the two depending on where im going...its not ideal but ya gotta do what you gotta do. Im still torn whether to sell the 7 and go to a 9 or just buy a second 7 and run both chips one in each unit. I mainly navigate from the driver seat and then actually fish from the front so it could work to just chart from the front.

we all knew the habs were an absolutely terrible team with a good goaltender. The proof is when they basically finished dead last the year price got hurt. Price has looked somewhat human and the habs directly reflect the reality of what that team is. They basically expect Pacioretty Galchynuk and droin the contribute 100% of the offence to that team because aside from them the team is a pile of 4th liners. None of these guys are connor mcdavid, sidney crosby, malkin, steven stamkos, alex ovechkin, nikita kucherov, auston matthews, jonothan toews or patrick kane...not even close. sorry if i missed any more of the NHL's best. point being is that none of these guys are even close to that level...galchynuk would be in bozaks spot on the leafs...thats right, third line. you know who else is also totally comparable to pacioretty? Another leafs third liners, james van reimsdyk...yup. when bozak and van reimsdyk are expected to carry the team youve got a big big problem...

insight allows you to autochart your own maps so even if an area is not charted you are able to utilize your sonar to create sounding data onto a chip. I am not sure what specific chip you would require, on the humminbird helix Onix and Solix models its called autochart zero line.

didnt realize that it was whistling until i hit a block south...at first I thought i was just hearing turbo spool...but then i rolled the windows down and realized that the truck was whistling...by that point the dealership was closed and more importantly I absolutely needed the truck that evening. The way i saw it, the dealer let me newly "fixed" truck off of the lot in the shape it was in, thats on the dealership not me. Perhaps they should have test drove the vehicle after doing such significant repairs???

except i did i went to the dealer and told them about my coolant leaking and they did a pressure test and it came up with nothing their reply was to monitor it? in fact they still wont admit that the EGR cooler is leaking. Their report says that that I am to continue to monitor the cooler because they couldnt find the source of the leak lmao. What i couldnt believe is that the idiots didnt test drive the truck after completely swapping the EGR out...they basically took everything right off of the intake manifold and then reinstalled it and sure enough obviously didnt test drive it after or they would have heard the very loud whistle. Bill, you already know that once my warranty is up im bypassing the EGR, installing a cold air intake and reflashing the ECU. Its a joke how badly they choke up the diesels to make emission standards.

not to revive the dead...but wow...surprise surprise i have a major update about my eco diesel. Two weeks ago my 2016 eco diesel threw an CEL. Thought it may have just been the MAF or O2 sensor as the truck seemed to be running totally fine. But im still under warranty so I bring the truck in to Downsview dodge. Over time i have also noticed that my coolant has slowly been draining, did a little research and learned that there are issues with the EGR coolers leaking. Anyways truck goes in I get a call the EGR system is totally blown. full of soot and needs to be completely replaced. They swap the entire system out and i go and pick up my truck. I immediately notice that the truck is now making a very strong whistling sound...but the dealer is closed. I also need my truck so whatever a vacuum leak isnt the end of the world, ill take it back in to get it fixed...im not impressed but it is what it is....except that on the drive to Georgetown to drop my dog off an hour later, driving down the 401 my truck whistling away boom shudder, throttle control hits i get a big red lightning bolt and a warning to service to throttle control sensor and i throw another CEL....great i limp my truck to georgetown dodge (its 8pm) and they tell me that they cant service my truck because downsview had done something wrong. Their suggestion is to get it towed using road side assistance, back to downsview. I tell them that I will deal with it tomorrow and they say thats fine that i can park it there until it can be towed. The next day comes around, i have to go back to toronto for a doctor appointment so i drive my moms vehicle back to toronto, go to my appointment and drop the key off with downsview dodge. I then call roadside assistance where they proceed to tell me that 1. They wont tow vehicles from one dealer to another 2. That the tow exceeds my allowed mileage 3. that the tow truck driver needs to keys (which are at downsview) i basically tell the lady on the phone "ok ill go put my truck in neutral and push it out into the middle of highway 7 and then you can tow it for me...and you can send the invoice for the additional mileage directly to downsview chrysler. They get my tone and work everything out. I have to call the tow truck company and convince them to just frigging tow the truck on a dolly...they dont want to but I explain that whatever costs associated with the trouble will be covered by the dealer its not my problem. They eventually oblige and its now been 2 days and I just right now found out my truck is available for pick up. I will never buy a dodge again. Next time i will save up more money and buy something that doesnt break down after 39,000k
