  1. unfortunately Iron...in line with the thought process of the time...if you didnt immediately get sick they think you are fine. The carcinogens in the harbour take years to manifest and kill a person. Im sure your limited exposure is fine, but the ridiculous amount of biomagnification especially for a preditorial fish like a walleye...sheesh, they should have selected something a little less edible. I can just see it now...the white bucket brigade has a hayday down there and starts spreading the poison through the entire community at the market. Jeebus. Fresh caught white fish!
  2. Orr was an outstanding defenseman so was lidstrom
  3. the guy has never been a very good defenseman. Hes gotten better but when he first started he was friggin terrible. Its crazy how hard it is these days to find a niedermyer or pronger...everyone wants to snipe instead of stop the other team from sniping

where was this, thats really cool
  5. been on multiple musky trips with my buddy dave...hes been skunked every single time. In 12 years the family has caught one g bay musky...dave goes fishing off of the dock last weekend with a texas rigged OSP 3 inch crayfish...just dragging it along the bottom...yup he catches a musky lol
  6. you answered my question!! lol Every game is a big game
  7. this is great to see! it always amazed me that Lake O wasnt like the others, now i sometimes wish i had a boat down here as well...wait till the smallies really make a full come back around Toronto. I know theres some excellent largie and pike fishing in around the islands...itd be wicked to have lake erie style fishing right here in the city. The salmon/trout guys probably think im crazy.
  8. no blackouts for you in NWT either...save yourself $100 a year!
  9. oh 100% if hes got the budget he should be heading way way north. The northwest territories has some absolutely ridiculous monster pike fishing. If you have a the budget for a fly in, do it!
  10. is it 100% reliable, no lag, full HD? I tried the sneaky service last year and almost kicked a hole through my TV when the leafs won in overtime and the server froze 5 seconds before they scored. Can you believe that to just add sports to my apartment they wanted $100 a month?! insanity
  11. i think he meant 20lb + pike... Id fish georgian bay with a guide personally. No need for extreme expenses for that one.
  12. figured id share this one with the group. Im one fo the large majority of people nowadays that has absolutely no use for cable TV aside from watching sports...Yet Robbers still feels the need to have a complete monopoly on hockey games, to the extent that you can purchase an NHL centre ice subscription for $200 a year and they still dont want to let you watch hockey. Last week i solved the problem...signed up with a VPN for $100 which makes it look like im in the netherlands, signed up with game centre live for another $200 for the year, so for $300 a year ive now got every single NHL Game in HD on a real feed from the NHL, no lag, no black outs, no questions asked and i can watch any game at any time. Yesterday afternoon i watched the oilers game that i blanked out the score for...was like watching the game live. Im hoping to dodge the Leafs score tomorrow and catch up on the game when i get home from work.
  13. could be an old wives tale, but theres a story from pleasant cove resort of a big G bay musky eating some lady's toy poodle...i believe it.
  14. i love watching the xenophobic habs trying to find french replacements hahaha
  15. FML humminbird better get off of their butts and start getting lakemaster sorted for Canada. im a humminbird guy but their lack of canadian charts is ridiculous. The most ridiculous being their "great lakes" cuts at the border...outrageous.
  16. 10.5 for the best goalie in the NHL? peanuts these days connor just got paid 12.5 per PK Subban is making that much, i dotn think anyone is worried about that "price"\ This is Pat Roy all over again
  17. still got a month of slaying eyes and monster pike to do, maybe ill even stumble across a Gbay Ski...we shall see. Throw some fatty smallies in the mix...come december ill be ready, but not quite yet.
  18. booing cary price is a great way to keep a number 1 goaltender around... imagine they scared him off? wow...what would be left?
  19. A couple more from me couple years ago i was out ice fishing in the hut jacket off but with the bib. I was checking my phone and proceeded to just throw it in the chest of my bib as i was in a texting conversation, something happened at the hole and i stood up and bent over, out slips my phone hits the ice and then starts sliding in a b line right towards the hole i just sit there staring at it dumbfounded as my iphone goes ploop...see ya later this spring i had my phone in the front pocket of my autoinflate (its an iphone 7 and waterproof) i had it in there with my fishing and boating license. It was a torrential downpour and i know that when it gets damp, my licenses have been known to stick to my phone as i pull it out...not a big deal i think as im driving. So along we go doing about 20mph in the tinner when my phone starts going off, i unzip my PFD and sure enough the licenses are sticking to the back and i think whatever, im checking my phone for one second no big deal...except i didnt factor in the wind...i pull out my phone with the licenses stuck, the wind hits them...see ya later genius.
  20. Here Matt, because you are too lazy to actually check the stat lines for your fave team ill do you a favour....lets play a game, show me a single top line forward out of these guys? Ouch....how you can even stand to watch these guys try score is beyond me..if i wanted to spend my evenings watching guys struggle to score id go to the bar with my friends Ryan Dzingel 2016-17 Ottawa Senators NHL 81 14 18 32 Kyle Turris 2015-16 Ottawa Senators NHL 57 13 17 30 32 -15 -- -- -- -- -- 2016-17 Ottawa Senators NHL 78 27 28 55 Bobby Ryan 2015-16 Ottawa Senators NHL 81 22 34 56 28 -9 -- -- -- -- -- 2016-17 Ottawa Senators NHL 62 13 12 25 Nate Thompson 2014-15 Anaheim Ducks NHL 80 5 13 18 39 0 12 2 4 6 6 2015-16 Anaheim Ducks NHL 49 3 3 6 Mark Stone 2015-16 Ottawa Senators NHL 75 23 38 61 38 -4 -- -- -- -- -- 2016-17 Ottawa Senators NHL 71 22 32 54 Derick Brassard 2015-16 New York Rangers NHL 80 27 31 58 30 12 5 1 3 4 0 2016-17 Ottawa Senators NHL 81 14 25 39 Alex Burrows 2015-16 Vancouver Canucks NHL 79 9 13 22 49 -13 -- -- -- -- -- 2016-17 Vancouver Canucks NHL 55 9 11 20
  21. the reason they dont win is because you have a bunch of 3rd liners on the first line.
  22. bingo...more importantly you arent going to win a cup with Bobby Ryan Mr. 7.25 million for 20 goals a season as your sniper lol
  23. my parents recently borrowed my truck to haul something to the lake and when they returned i said to my mom you and dad are a piece of work, you borrow my truck and bring it back with only a quarter a tank of gas? regardless i wasnt too impressed even when my mom swore that they filled up about 60km away from home, i wasnt buying it. The only part that was throwing me off was that my range was still reading 600km...i basically thought, whatever this thing is effed up just like the other problems ive had with my truck lately. ...but then i went to fill up my truck and oh low and behold, the guage goes from right F to left E not the other way around...i apologized to my mom after that one ahhahaa
  24. I as well missed this event as I was off of the forums at the beginning of the month. What a terrible thread to stumble across at a later date. I am extremely sorry to hear this news. All the best to you and your family during this very very difficult time.
  25. we were spotting salmon 8 weeks ago in the credit I caught one a month ago to the day
