I do not see you being able to generate 24 volts from this.. as you still have a 12v Lead coming off the battery You need to have multiple 12v sources to accomplish this.. I cannot think how you can turn a simple 12v source into 24v... if you are strapped for cash pickup a gently used car battery??? sure they are not meant to be discharge over and over.. but it might be a cheap solution?? How did mounting the quick release bracket work out? G

Dawg, we need some rules... but they are there to keep this fair to all.. for example: Peacock Bass Vs. LMB... hardly fair... we also have categories so as to keep this manageable.. Want speared or netted fish being entered? OOS fish? I think the rules are there to keep things fair for everyone... This is for fun! but guidelines are needed. IMHO.. My bet is that HJ-14 is going to be the most productive lure you have in your arsenal.. I would perhaps add an HJ12 in the same colour... G

It is suggested but not required... reason being we would not want to see undue stress or harm come to the fish... That is why this is a FUN tournament.. once monetary or physical rewards come into play then more cynical questions arise as well a doubts.. If we keep it fun and free.... then why the need to cheat? The only reward is bragging rights This method/approach has worked well in previous years, and this year we have an even better turnout! Makes it all the more interesting. I wish everyone the best of luck this year, and thank you to the Admin of OFC for putting it together again! Also a huge thank you to the team captains, as the owness is on them to keep accurate accounting and records, as well as posting info and keeping everyone in the loop.. G.

Andrew good to know... I had no problems in waiting 2 weeks for my order as I was told up front this would be the case.... I guess some people did have a problem with it and that is why I am assuming he changed his shipping method??.... I am sure if you stated you were not in a rush he would be more then happy to ship the way he did in the past... perhaps he should offer this choice to his clients... Either way a Better price then anyone here in Hamilton, or Ontario for that matter. G

They are mostly used to help the boat get on plane... and I could see how they claim they make your motor more fuel efficient.. less power required to get the boat on plane... But I do not see how they provide more top end... unless the planing action they are designed for lifts even more of the hull out of the water... if you do not have a problem getting the boat to plane... I would say it is wasted $$ That said... to each their own... G

I would think the fact they went back and read the sign would indicate to me they were not regulars on that stretch of water... But someone new to the waterbody... All you can do is hope they did the right thing after your suggestions and them reading the sign.. Unless you have proof they were fishing in an illegal manner... I would leave it alone... CO's need to be made available for those that are proven poachers etc.. my $0.02 G
