  1. I love mustard powder in my potato salad.... You should try it!!!!! Edit..... Powder...... Not power..... Although power is good too!
  2. Wow..... Makes the 5.00 I pay at either of our towns ramps seem like a bargain! And it includes free truck and trailer parking, portopotty and takes care of the yearly maintenance! Shhhhh no one tell town hall! G
  3. I dunno about you..... But after a long day on the water in the blazing sun a $10.00 beer would seem like a bargain! G
  4. What's the difference between a centrepin and a mooching reel?
  5. I went 5/8" with good bracing underneath.... Worked well.
  6. ^^ what he said!, I've won't be going back to a gasser anytime soon! I have a Weber Performer.... They are pretty basic, but if I'm in a hurry a can start the charcoal via propane if I need to. It's a cool little feature I've use about three times... Only because I'm not usually in that much of a hurry You can't even compare something cooked on a gas BBQ to something over charcoal. If you can do it.... Go charcoal.... More and more people are going back to the basics.
  7. The beer was for show..... It's not open! Lol..... Can't have the beer right now, It stays in the fridge as a reminder. God a beer would have been better then a carton of lemonade though! G
  8. LOL, I love them balls! Grilled, fried, steamed.... Love em! Uhmmm wait.... That didn't come out right. G
  9. Wife and son went up to the parents for dinner tonight..... What to do? Yup BBQ! Pulled out a striplion cooked on the Weber Performer 2 minutes a side, baked potato, brussel sprouts and a salad with a homemade balsamic dressing.... And some light reading material. I should do this more often! G
  10. It wouldn't hurt to add a chunk of 1/2-5/8 ply under the dash and bolt through it... Would probably help prevent flexing and possible spider cracking of the gel coat etc in rough weather. It's added insurance for a chunk of scrap wood. My opinion anyways. G
  11. I can get the chalet sauce at my local no frills it comes in little packets
  12. Pretty small job. Not knowing the layout, I would estimate 400-600..... Not worth it for a professional fulltime taper otherwise.... And if you did find one, this would more then likely be a side job. And would be taped in a weekend, sanded the following weekend..... ( good tapers should barely have to sand at all) Where are you located? If in the Hamilton area I know of a couple of guys that might be willing to offer assistance. G
  13. Pricing is normally based upon square footage of board.... And there is a big difference... you'll pay more for a small job then a larger one. The more Sqf the lower the price per Sqf. Not sure where you live, as there is a market for decent tapers....but a good taper is worth his weight in gold. G
  14. You would/could be incorrect there.... Many cameras are capable. Good topic for discussion.
  15. We get to see tons of planes here in Brighton of all different sorts and usually all flying very low. Most of the flights are training exercises for the pilots to earn their hours. Being so close to the Trenton airbase has its advantages! The nighttime flare excersizes are amazing to witness the entire sky looks like it is on fire G
  16. I was on propane when I lived rural..... And it sucked! Prices were artificially inflated ( shortage of propane I was told) Having a 800-1000 bill hanging on your doorknob was not nice to walk home too. Your at the mercy of the market in terms of pricing..... And you never know if your vendor is being honest about the amount deposited in the tank. Propane vendors are lower then used car salesmen as far as I'm concerned..... They will screw you, one way or another. G
  17. Lol thanks for the laughs guys:) yeah weird for sure! I'm about 1.5km from the railway that divides our little town, all I see is rocks around the rail lines.... But not knowing what rail slag is or was I was a bit perplexed. I'm guessing some kid got bored with his treasure and threw it out the window on their way home from the PP just down the road. I'm just glad ET didn't drop a deuce on my front lawn. G
  18. On my front lawn, after the storm....
  19. No clue what it is. Perhaps you guys might have an answer? ???? G
  20. Sounds like a good time man! I'm gonna have a look at this place. As I need a getaway! G Edit to add.... Damn that looks like East 14th st
  21. It's with tears in my eye that I post this.... Her pain is over, her struggle is gone. She is at peace. She has made the world a better place for those that had the privilege to have known her. Be strong Wayne, your family needs you now. G
