  7. That's a smokin' deal!!!
  8. Sweet!!! I've been reading up on aggressive walleye...what you experienced is pretty much a carbon copy of the articles I read. Pretty awesome to come across them feeding like that!
  9. DOOOD!!! Nice shootin there!! That's one delicious lookin' pile of whitefish!! And a VERY nice walleye to boot! Rumour has it I'm actually getting out fishing this weekend...I'll try and do ya proud!
  10. WOW!!!!! I had a FEELING that Terry would finally hit a nice one on Temagami!! Way to go! And Lloyd...that trout is INSANE. I'm in AWE. Don't know what to say...great report as usual, Wayne.
  11. very nicely done!! Man I wish I was getting out there more often...thanks for the pics though....a little vicarious satisfaction never hurt anybody
  12. Awesome pics and report!!!!! a nice day out there indeed...VERY nice of your pal to let you use the hut
  13. I have some pvc sitting in my car for just such a rig, but believe it or not, it hangs just fine by itself. I turned the metal mounting bracket around, to help counterbalance it, and taped a nice chunk of foam around the cable. so far, as long as I straighten the cord out before dropping it in, it works just fine. Was looking at my tube jig on the screen in 65 FOW the other day...good enough for me!
  14. Spent the day in Muskoka with the wife and baby girl...my son was at his mom's this weekend. Mostly sat by the fire, but managed to put our little girl in the carrier and walk out on to Rosseau a few hundred yards in front of the Windermere House. Good crowd of people out there...and we got our lines wet for maybe half and hour before the breeze had picked up enough to make us think we better head in. I was surprised that it went as well as it did, and ultimately was glad I spent the whole day with them instead of dividing it up to go fishing by myself
  15. Very nice, Darcy! I've only ever heard good things about Grahams...looks like you guys had a great day!
  16. x3 on the fish storage/quicke eating philosophy And yes, I've seen a laker spit up a frog as well....apparently it's common for fish to dig'em out of the mud. I guess not enough frogs are good at covering their butts
  17. Lowes in the States has'em on for $39.95...if you happen to live close to the border...
  18. I love these reports! I NEED to fish this lake Commentary was hilarious...making her pull the sled...priceless!
  19. All I can comment on is the advice thing...no point telling him anything until he comes looking for help. Or at LEAST gets frustrated because what he's doing is working.
  20. I can't tell you anything about the lake or lodge...but welcome aboard, Doc!
  21. I would think that's right, so long as you have the 3 amp fuse wired in....?
  22. Pretty sure Princess Auto has them as well...
  23. I tell you what ticks me off the MOST about your pics, MTBF/MTIF...all I see is a box with a red x in it! Do sumthin' about that willya?!?!? Trying to put myself in your shoes...after page 2, I would've planned to take the knee for future photos. But after pages 3 and 4, I'm pretty sure I'd be buying new software to make the backgrounds of my pics super psychadelic heliotropic kaleidoscopic wonderlands. Whew. I got a bit carried away there...kinda like slap-chop Vince rhyming words with bikini. I'm good now. Keep up the good work Mikey!!!
  24. There's no emoticon that depicts me shuddering in fear...little one is 4 months....I know it's not long before all this starts. My son is going to be 10 years old soon...I don't even remember the teething debacle...so I guess that means that yes, you will get through it and like DouG says, it won't be a blip on the radar. Keep on keepin' on!
  25. Ahhhh Simon....nice report man! I haven't even been on the board for the last few days, never mind wet a line. But I KNEW I could come on here and fine some NWO goodness Nice haul!!!
