Thanks to a fellow board members advice, and other research, I made the plunge into DSLR territory today. My 16 yr old daughter is playing with it now, so i cannot take any pics to upload, but that will happen soon enough. What should I be playing with first? I do not have a lot of experience with a camera, but am willing to learn what to do. The lenses that I have are: 18 - 55 auto focus and image stabilization 28 - 90 auto focus from a FILM canon rebel. What can I do with these?

Loblaws, Fortinos, Sobeys, and apparently some people have been known to catch them by putting time and effort into looking for them on the water. BTW, there is a book out called How to make friends and influence people, look it up at Chapters.

That is a fair price, consider the amount of training, tools, and overhead the man has to have and carry. The job you describe can be a huge PITA. And you get the piece of mind that someone who is trained and qualified is doing the work. as well, I would be talking to your builder as to why the roughin was not done.
