  1. check them constantly during the year and when on the road just a hand check to the rim for temp, but with the availability of a 2o$ infrared temp gun could be a handy tool. spring time I elevate and spin trailer wheels to listen for noisy bearings then pack as required. on road its always looking behind rim for grease spray from faulty seal and temp of wheel
  2. I ll be there not sure when, gonna get out for some fishin saturday
  3. Some will have a small amount of end play and others will not. Best to check with your dealer on your models specifications then go from there. Seen bearing issues on all makes of quads at that mileage best to check first

  7. g guess everyone must have a scan tool code reader these days and still don't mean squat if you cant understand how diagnosis the code, no I can open a fuel line pretty quick and cycle key in my driveway, code reader don't tell u its bad fuel best you get is p0300 multible misfire which is wide open to causes but thought he wanted a professional opinion oh well
  8. first you need to take a fuel sample if possibe, but sounds like fuel contamination to me, just went through this with a caravan someone put deisel in, by the time i changed the plugs drained and flushed the tanks and lines was $1100 touch

  14. take bearings and seals to a local jobber and match them up, i use carquest in lindsay area, even canadian tire will have trailer axle kits if you know your axle diameter
  15. severn river is very productive and has a untapped crappie fishery, electronics and paying attention to water temps will pay big dividends, lots of weedy/pads and stumpy back bays that will drop quickly into deeper river channels. what excacly would you like to learn?
  16. check with pro-j tackle they usually have the new stuff first
  17. i was down that way, open to just north of greens then starts locking up again, was iced over by cliffs place other than some shoreline that was open and around moorings in the slips was open Saturday but with the two cold nights frozen again this morning
  18. sturgeon still ice locked has some open areas in normal river areas, lots of damage from ice movement this year, may be as much as 2 weeks before a boat goes in
  19. Your moving to buckhorn lake what u really need is more fishing gear
  20. rangertrail trailer are pretty much the snizzile for loading and unloading a boat even make a rookie look good using them, six bunks rock solid contruction only real weak point is the built in retractable wheel at the front my 92 trailer still on original bunks and carpet grease cleaned yearly any of the better trailers that have six bunks are a charm to load and unload in the bassboat world i seldom use the winch to loaded it almost always drive on have split a few rollers lol
  21. the art is in the sharpening, have several knives the schrades are very nice but lack some flexibility, several models of rapala knives that work ok cheapys seem to get a year of cleaning out of them before blade is toast, I love my 2 grit sharpening stone as well as my lagostina steel for keeping the edge pefect
  22. now u just need a torque wrench
  23. usually wait till 2nd week of april myself
  24. i ve never seen it work any other way with barn storage oh well be mad but be assured thats how they all work, i use a cover and several tarps and leave it on my property never have a problem getting it out, come to think of it be pulling it out tomorrow
  25. the lowarance can do more the bird units are easier to use in lower and midline units, depending on your budget, the canadian tire in lindsay has a bunch of lowrance and dird units on clearance ie a mark 4 hdi for 227 and a 858 bird for 499 check around your area may get a decent unit from last year for a great price
