  1. and if you had drum brakes would have lost it all, not the first time seeing f150 doing that doubt its the last
  2. generally nothing leaves my bay without being hand torqued first, but the biggie and no matter how many times i say it is all wheels require a retorque after 25 to 100 miles of driving, doesn't take much corrsion or dirt on the mounting surface to make the wheel come loose quickly ans surprisingly about 1 in a 100 customers will return for that retorque
  3. Check the rest of your wheels
  4. alrady got my sled permit it had better snow
  5. whats everyone using? been using seagar for a number of years and cant say i ve been happy with it for poor knot strength and stretch. spent the $50 bones for a spool of kensei for a flippin stick in 25lb its the worst line i ve ever seen for memory and tangles. Is there a limp low stretch flouro out there, the vanish is ok as a leader material but never liked it as a main line.
  6. The very real problem today is time. No time for a kid to be taught to fish ir huntt respect nature and outdoors. To easy to tune into the net and be brainwashed by some radicals.
  7. its a tragedy regarless of gun control issues, the real issue is the supposed peaceful religion no guns, would have made a bomb outta fertilizer and deisel fuel same result dead and injured innocents
  8. Those cracks are nothing to be concerned about
  9. it sright there when your signing the papers for the new vehicle in question, usually your handed the tire warranty with the owners manual ect, that the vehicle manufacter is not responsible for the tire warranty and to deal directly with the tire company that makes that brand, Tire warrantys are a pia though, usually goodyear is the easiet to deal with, bridgestone the worst. when i was a goodyear retailer they wouldn t even question a tire warranty with less than 2/32 of wear or less than 2 years old but only warranty 2 at a time for that. as for the cracking unless a ball point pen fits in it dont worry to much about it, cosmetic, and michelins are usually the worst for surface cracking. which tires u rollin on B the 20inch wrangler hp? mine have had minor groove cracking the last 60000km
  10. thats torque and horsepower for you, something the honda guys know little about
  11. not being paranoid it called being prepared for whatever comes my way, while there is some weapons stashed around the house, also have a hammer in each room and a rope ladder in the upstairs in case of fire smash window and get out, several extinguishers, kitchen utility room bedrooms, have the genny ready to go in less than 5 minutes to keep heat going if theres a blackout coleman stove and propane cylinders in a easy to get spot as well as several rechargable flashlight always ready to go. couple extra fishing rods upstairs in case of flooding
  12. i am at a dealer and a oil change is in the $50 range for most cars up to around $200 for the eco diesel. lof always falls to the low man, if available us bestest mechanics are usually doing something like putting a ring and pinion in or putting clutches and steels in a transmission unless you want the kids trying that lol
  13. that being said, if tourneys that are c+r anyway harm a fishery, hows is the average angler doing the same or keeping a few not harming the fishery? there seems to be a great divide among the very people who say they love this sport/hobby/addiction and the more we fight among ourselves about it the sooner the antis will gain the upper hand. those sobs probably cheat at cards, betting, golf, monopoly there wives ect. only matters that they appear to have got away with it all year and no real way to prove it, to bad they picked th cages up and not let pinky and the brain come back for them
  14. i have a load of machetes and knives, couple swords and several 30lbs ish recurve bows at the ready though my goto is a axe handle. nothing like a good piece of hickory
  15. mostly find bad wiring and connectors on these, other problems are bad tipm's
  16. dan d many new car purchases do come with a certain amount of free lofs, some deals have been as much a 3year 60k that i ve seen.smart on the dealer side of things
  17. Pretty simple rule if your air filter is dirty then your cabin filter is dirty. Go ahead do it yourself not hard, never understood why people get all up in a huff when simple jobs are charged out. My time is worth something and if other mechanics wanna give the milk away for free let em
  18. NO probs lew have a couple I wired up here.
  19. us white guys are always racial profiled on the rivers and its wrong
  20. there's a lot of decent boat brands out there, the old saying of you get what you pay for is true, seen lots of issues with trackers and legends, if not rivets popping paint peeling or welds cracking, not a fan of welded hulls myself take rivets anyday. Lund is always my top choice for a tinner, top quality aluminum double riveted seams and well thought out storage and ergos about best resale, and good dry ride, alumacraft next in line, starcraft i ve seen all been great, and the sylvan/smokercrafts take a beating and stay leak free, all boats are a trade off somewhere, the widebody stuff from lund, sylvan legend all tend to give you more room with a wider beam and flatter bottom more pounding less cutting all things to consider, ranger has a couple intresting aluminum boats, havn't read anything negative but really only kow a couple guys with them
  21. there also talking about special license fees and extra taxes for living on kawartha lakes waterfront to help reapir the waterway
  22. Guessing its the same crowd that shows up in there tinners during the crappie spawn
