that belt looks a little low and worn if i remember correctly that belts min width is 26mm new is 31 if iam right that belt is right at the min. also adjust your chaincase-- easy peasy loosen lock nut tighten adjustor by hand till snug hold and tighten lock bolt. for clutch servicing use a "brown" xtrafine 3 m scotchbrite pad and acetone to clean all th faces. to check track tenssion use a spring scale with 10 kg of force (22lb) measure sag in middle of skid should be 25-30mm or 1to 1.2 inches but i change that one driveshaft bearing every 2 seasons as preventative mainteneance n all my yamahas and jackshaft bearing and chaincase every 12000km or so

Where does the belt sit in the secondary post a pic if you can. Measure belt width for wear andncheck secondary. But usually the problem your describingnis.in the driveshaft. The "speedo" bearing seizes up causing clunking severe slow down off the throttle. Easy enougj to replace and around $50. Take belt off elevate sled and spin track by handnmake sure its free then work backwords from there

just taking some air out makes a big difference, but in testing snow tires, a/t ect in vehicles over the years found reversing tires had little to no effect on tire performance, mostly just a marketing stradegy i think

i believe to have real leaders we need to substaintally raise the pays of the pm's office, hard to get the best and brightest at 250k a year when in private sector there making millions

You dont need a permit to use your sled for heritage activities if taking the most direct way to your location. If your gonna do a 30 km tour then go fishen you 'll need a permit

ecmilley replied to Old Ironmaker's topic in General Discussion
more like the tax class, i make about 102k a year wife part time like 18k a year and with a 1100 month mortgage 600 in vehicle payments plus all tyhe usual utlitys food ect there still not much left at end of month and i dont go out for dinner and brown nag lunch to work everyday just cant imagine how someone living in the city can afford anything making that canadian average of 38k a year -

i look at the promises and dollar value that the ndp and liberals make and know that the money will be coming out of my pocket, one guy is a lawyer and has refinanced his house something like 22 times yup he knows something about fiscal responsibility the other lives off daddys trust fund hmmm theres some reality there too. I like harper no bones about it he leads and takes no bull doing it,understands money and how to make a country work, is he perfect hell no, always able to critique a leader, but ask yourself can you do a better job?

-
yes so just picked up a spool and tied leaders on three rods this morning, spent day dragging tubes and wacky rigging smallies and the suffix is very nice easy to work with great shock resistance, i use a blood knot to tie all my leaders very strong compact knot that i used for years tying my own fly leaders and it works great in this application as well. was looking for a good flouro main line for two flippin sticks for those line shy days, dont like a knot when i am putting a hurtin on bass in heavy cover
