Canned Chilee flavored Beanee Weenee, Funyuns onion rings, and a Sno Ball snack cake (the white ones, not the pink ones!)... or Canned Sardines in Mustard sauce, Saltines, and a Little Debbie brand Rasin Creme Pie snack cake all washed down with Pepsi and bottled water. If I have company on the boat I may get a little fancy and take a Possum innards Quiche with a real nice collard greens Flambe' for dessert!!!

You should be painting the porch... yesterday!!! Shopping for groceries after you get there has always been part of the trip fun for me. You can find "different" stuff and try out the local brands! I wait 'til my destination has been reached and everything has been unloaded from the truck, and then pop out to the local grocery. I also like to do souvenier shopping in local tackle shops for "different" tackle, T-shirts, and ball caps! ... but I'm sure you'll do what your wife tells you to do.

With a high of 89*F (31*C) today and 83* (29*) tomorrow and a UV index of 9 (on a scale of 1-10) because there isn't a cloud in the sky, there will be many sunburns at the race. Lotsa insanity going on in town and the liquor store has even opened up 2 hrs. early every day this week! Ol Yeller drove past the track on the Interstate last night on her way home from work and said the smoke from all the BBQ grills reduced visibility by 50% and you could smell every kind of meat cooking imaginable. Gonna be lots of drunk Rednecks, traffic tickets, and several -es will go to jail. It's a helluva party... but I think I'll stay home and work in the yard... those race folks is crazy yanno!

So?... what's the problem???... anyone that gets busted on this law is ignorant anyway and needs to be enlightened!!! Do you really want to try to tow that 20' Lund with your Honda Civic??? If you have enough money to buy a nice boat boat or travel trailer... you should have enough money to buy a decent tow vehicle first!!! What's so hard to figure out about that??? Towing on the highway is just like fishing on a lake, you should know all the regulations... ignorance of the law is no excuse!!!

Excellent report and pics Jacques!!! I'll be damned if I can see that Partridge though!!! I love eating the smaller fish like that!!!... I scale them, cut off the heads, and gut them... then fry them up whole!!! If you know the fishe's anatomy, you don't have to worry about the bones... especially with Trout!!!... the part I like the best is the fried tails!!! (I can make a meal out of fried fish tails... if there's enough of them!!!) I hope you enjoyed your meal and I'm looking forward to more of your softwater reports!!!
