  1. Saw a picture of the remaining triangle ice blocks on the surface. Those idiots set the blocks up, pointy tip skyward and they're not small. Heaven forbid somebody runs into them.
  2. Yup, don't think I knew you back then, there was another fellow, his wife and little guy were there quite often. Those were fun times.
  3. Far as I know crappie are not all that active after dark. There used to be a group in the late days of winter that would catch them in the Barrie marina just before ice out, maybe just enough light from the light posts around there.
  4. Brian, is that stainless holy metal? Where do you get that stuff?
  5. A bit of PAM on aluminum foil on a cooky sheet, lay the fillets down, baste with a stiff mix of mayo, real lemon juice and dill, bake for about 25 minutes at 325. Don't forget to trim the dark mud line off the skin side.
  6. Hahahaha, ya Bob Izumi beat me to it, but his costs $40K. Sno Bear
  7. Thanks, I'll let him know about this. Oh BTW, he's also noticed a vibration right around the 1100 rpm mark, something to do with torque converter balancing. Apparantely not uncommon.
  8. Hi Art: Todays trip at roughly 50-60 mph, gentle driving, empty, no towing, couldn't get any better than 14.2L/100km, whatever that works out to 16.5 MPG US...I believe that su...there's a vacuum.
  9. Sham wow, skeptical at first, but man those towels suck up liquid.
  10. No snow to shovel up there..
  11. So ya mean there's a pointy end sticking up? Sure hope not, couple more days and some sledders will have a rude obstacle if they don't see that.
  12. Well not pointing fingers, but merging is an art and there's a lot of eraser drivers out there.
  13. Looks like Toyota will be getting the same motor for the Titan.
  14. Ya, mines on top, no space between the blade and mounting surface. Look at the space and angle between Bluegills blade and mine. Mine is more open, his is narrower. I could only say that his has been wacked upwards. [/url]">http://
  15. Brian, take a close look at where the red line ends at the top of the photo. Right there are the stamped ridges on the chipper blade. If you install them on that side, the ridges don't allow that surface of the blade to lay flat against the bottom of the auger plate.
  16. I'm going to throw this out, isn't the chipper blade supposed to go on the other side where the red line is?
  17. Art, I have an old 04 Cummins and regularly get 11 -12 L/100km, that's with a truck that probably weights over a 100 more than yours. You claim to get 16.8 L/100km with a 6000lb trailer at 65-85 mpg? One of my sons has a '13 Ecoguzzle, towing a 17' all aluminum enclosed trailer with 2 snowmobiles, we averaged between 22-28L/100km at no more than 70mph.
  18. The only time an Ecoboost will get rated mileage is when the box is empty, put any weight or a cargo trailer behind it and it can't pass a gas station.
  19. 16-18 inches for a truck with snow tires and chains, no problem. Weight helps like Wayne said. Driver experience helps a lot and remember that momentum will get you through some of the bad stuff. If you let off the gas you loose forward momentum and start to dig in. Are there any trees that are along the roadway? If so a 4000lb come a long is a great tool with a 50' tow strap. http://www.princessauto.com/en/search?Dy=1&Nty=1&Ntt=comealong
  20. That's big enough for you to climb in..
