  1. It wasn't kept in a live well, it was just relocated a couple hundred yards , thanks for all the well wishers, gbfisher, I love the boat, and it didn't seem inhumane, it's a fairly big livewell, but I understand your point and others, but that being said, I have an awesome pic to remember it buy, and it still swam, away, one fish was caugt in the evening and the other mid afternoon, The only big tip I would have as soon as the lure hit the water, I would pull 1 ft and then let the lure flutter for a second and both hits were right on the flutter, In september on Gbay, I have some decent pike in the same depth of water
  2. I want to get a replica of the first, so hence getting a photo for reference was important to me,
  3. I know it was pushing it, and I couldn't believe I forgot the camera, I usually fish Salmon on lake O, so to me, this is late fall I guess, and yes my whole body was shaking with exicetment
  4. Heres the second caught a couple days later, both were released and swam away strongly
  5. I am by now means a professional musky fisher, so be kind but I managed to get out on Georgian bay are for some late fall fishing, tough conditions weather wise but managed a couple of slobs, 1st fish was 53inches, and 41bs, I did forget the camera in another boat, so the fish did make a short 30 second ride to the dock in my live well, hence the shot on the dock, Was released after a short rest beside the dock, Caught this beauty in approx 4 fow in a weedy bay and Lindy m/g spinner, Second fish beneath here was caught on the same spinner in 3 fow off a point with some shallow weeds,
  6. I was just checking out the urban outdoors website 2 days ago and it seemed like 2008, and I was just thinking what happened to that guy? and here you are
  7. I love the flat raps, great trolling bait with lead core for summer pike
  8. I have been out a couple times this week, best depths have been 80 to 110 fow, with cannonballs down deep 75-85, meat/flasher has been the best and have tried in closer 40-50 fow, with nothing happening yet, all the fish I have caugth in front of bronte have still been fairly silver, radio talk has decent fish coming in front of lift bridge as well, so either or, but i would think you need a boat
  9. that is a lot of freakin fish! hopefully they stick to the quotas
  10. What type of reels? You can definitly use braid for dipsey divers, and in if necesssary on riggers, but mono helps absorb some of shock and keeps the fleas off which are just beginning to show, If you were going to run spoons of the lines, I would use a florocarbon leader
  11. Glad they took the pic from the zoo for the story
  12. I'd give it back in a heartbeat to get rid of the crap.s.t
  13. My condolences, I lost my mother to breast cancer too when I was 17, I wouldn't wish that disease on anyone, my prayers go out to you
  14. Wind and aren't free, we pay about 5cents a kw hour for electricity and the government pays 60-80 cents to obtain this green energy, I agree though, get more clean nuclear on line
  15. Try Lord of the riggers, I believe he sells them for less than $60 us.
  16. How do you know the protest has been cancelled, because the protest altered my plans
  17. I started with manuals 4 years ago and just upgraded to electrics, save yourself money and just get the electrics right away! I prefer big jons, not as bulky as the scotties, as I frequently take them on and off the boat
  18. Bills bait did move and to more convient location, less than 1 min to the linc, they are the closest to me, and their friendliness and customer service is A1, if they don't have it in stock, greg will order anything at competive prices too
  19. Is that a harbour craft with the suzukis? You guys have all slept in, I have been trolling on lake O since April 2
  20. I just put on 2 michelin ltx 255/70/16 and they were 190 installed and balanced, the new ltx 2 were $202, installed, this was at tirecraft superstore in stoney creek, which was the best price by far that I found, tirerack.com was 149$ plus shipping and then you have to install the tires, I had the ameritrac as well, but they were cracked like no tomorrow after 65000km and the front tires would "roll over" on tight corners.
  21. Some fatties, I have never fished for smallies in may, what is the presentation?
