  1. I'm gonna have to agree with Bill on that one, you reap what you sow and I very much doubt this was their first rodeo when it comes to stolen vehicles, back to the beginning of this thread the perp was referred to as a kid, it's not just a select few it's a way of life for a large majority, these may be broad strokes but it's not untrue. karma will get you
  2. awww I thought it was gonna keep going! hahaha, funny pics stubborn animal
  3. Beauty day, went out of mainland last week got 2 6lb, one 8 and one 10, but the numbers you consistently get I am envious of!
  4. excellent recap! I wouldn't mind giving them a go... one day haha all things in good time!
  5. what a bunch of beasts! also had to do a double take with the second lol
  6. what a d!ck! that's seriously messed up. how can you issue a ticket on a child because he doesn't look 50lbs I would understand if it was clearly 20lbs or in that area but come on, and against tourists to boot, way to ruin their vaca and good luck having them come back and spend more tourist dollars here.
  7. wow neat, wouldn't wanna have to deal with it if it broke though lol
  8. I have a 6lb wood splitting axe and it was the best purchase I've made on an axe for ease of use by far
  9. Another avenue to check would be a wagon, I had one, excellent storage capacity and I now as of last week picked up a 2011 tucson, 2.4l 4 cyl rated for 2000lbs towing, should be good for my uses in the coming years and it's got a ton of interior space with a great ride
  10. I did a trip to New Brunswick beginning of august, we had a 2013 eco boost that also did the trip in one tank, it was 1500km to the destination, but as mentioned above its a hefty fill up
  11. Soak it in water and soap as long as possible then use a sponge with a mesh over top, if that doesn't work use a claybar, they have kits at Canadian tire for $29.99, I would suggest using soap in a bottle rather than the solutions they provide with the kit I detailed for 3 years at a BMW dealership and saw all sorts of stuff end up on paint and claybar does the trick
  12. damn what a pig! good catch
  13. The girlfriends dad does a binbrook to Ajax every day, 135k 1 way I think, but it's a well paying job so it's not bad, hell if I could make the money he does but have to drive that, sign me up!
  14. Depends on where, but if I could spend the weekend I would be more likely to go up to the 500k range each way, also depends on the fishery!
  15. never bring gingers camping! hahaha http://theflama.com/stories/41871/drunk-guy-sinking-kayak-video
  16. Hamilton to Stoney creek here, 25kms - 20 mins in good traffic, took a bit of a pay cut going to this job just based on hours as I work a 40 and rarely have overtime, but being home at or before 5pm every weekday and now I can wake up at 7am, snooze and up and at 'er. Instead of the 5am wake up and go, and get home around 6 on the early side, 7 was the usual. oh and I now never work weekends, old job Saturdays were the norm and somehow I didn't mind it... guess that's why I didn't fish back then haha
  17. killer catch, watching that thing swim up from the depths was wicked, thanks for posting!
  18. haha that would be an interesting experience for a fish I'm sure, good idea but what sort of viability does it hold in terms of cost?
  19. Started as Leaf4 my initials and lucky number and now it is as it is!
  20. A truly tragic loss, I will forever remember him from all the childhood memories he brought to the tv screen, and I really liked his sitcom "The Crazy Ones" too. Rest in peace
  21. Have a couple friends that are being affected by the flash flood in the Burlington area, completely flooded basements hoping not too many people are affected by this but I know many people on this forum are in the area, hopefully all is well with everyone!
  22. good for pk getting signed, and getting seriously paid. though I think if it comes to him being unhappy or them being unhappy with the deal it will be hard to trade without keeping some salary, who knows. maybe they're both happy and will be for the next 8 years
  23. looks like I'll be waking up a bit earlier! taking ridge rd and down the mcneilly hill access haha http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/hamilton/news/burlington-skyway-crash-driver-to-be-charged-with-impaired-driving-1.2724276
  24. Almost got stuck in that today, instead opted to take the work truck home haha. I wonder what's going to happen to the driver of the truck?
