AMEN brother! Like you said....most people are doing a lot of "green" things around their house/workplace which make much more of a difference than running boats for a few months. (This is Canada, where you can only run a boat for 60% of the year in most locations). My house has CFL lightbulbs, energy efficient appliances, low flow toilets, proper insulation/windows, etc, etc. Not to mention my Ranger has a 4-stroke. I'm about as "green" as the Bass Boat world comes. So...your darn right I am going to enjoy it and not feel guilty for it!

Right on Cliff, I bet you're getting pretty pumped to use it eh! I know the feeling! I just took my new Ranger for its first rip in the Cobourg Harbour yesterday! Started right up, first try! It was a little rough out there (caught some air), but I opened it up in the harbour (since no one was around). I CANT WAIT for this weekend, when I can actually fish out of it! I think I might hit up Scugog for some crappie actually. I've never fished it, but it shouldnt be hard to locate some crappie! Maybe I'll see ya out there! Cheers, and enjoy your new toy!

Done and done. I would love a winter season, thats for sure. Im just worried that certain groups of people will poach even more if they extend the seasons though. I dont get why people cant follow the rules. I'm glad they are starting to look at limiting sunfish. I'm sick of seeing "white buckets" FULL. There's no need for that.

That's what happened to me last year!! Then I missed out on Stanley cup tickets because there was a glitch with ticketmaster's website! I wasnt too impressed to say the least! Still cant see anyone beating Detroit. When they are on, no team even comes close. And with the addition of Hossa, just makes them even more insane. I agree that Crosby is a little baby, and I wouldnt want to see him lifting the cup. Ovechkin deserves it, that's for sure. He is a machine!

Is it just me or does anyone else think they made the bed, and now are chirping about sleeping in it? Maybe if you didn't pay your workers WAY too much money to do jobs monkey's can do...you wouldn't be in the situation..? It's also pathetic that they are getting all this bailout money from taxpayers pockets. I lost my job in January due to the company filing for bankruptcy...... why didn't I get bailed out? My advice...take your $240,000 buy out ($120,000 x 2), $35,000 car voucher, and stop whining. Just my $0.02.

Only 204 this year??? I remember, not too many years back when I helped out, there would be 350+ fish on a bad day.

I agree that it sucks big time that we can't ice fish, but at the same time I'm thankful! If there were ice fishing on the Kawartha's, the fishery would be HORRIBLE come the soft water season. A LOT of "fishermen" around the Kawartha's seem to ignore possession limits, so it would KILL the fishery.

I bet half the people keep the stuff for themselves!
