We decided to try the Nith again since it had stopped raining.Start walking down and starts to pour,go figure.Go anyway not expecting much.We had alot of light taps and saw a bunch of fish swim around.We were also treated to a tail slap by the resident beaver.All told between the 2 of us we caught a rock bass,small mouth,chub, shiner and an alright sized sucker.Think we are going to try some different spots this weekend.Here are some pics. Oh yeah,2 days without any sign of the pike.

The Grand and Nith in Paris have been really low all summer but the last couple of days the levels have actually gone up slightly. Factor in the rain they are calling for today and maybe it will finally start to improve.

I hear ya Tbayboy.I think I have been out everyday since you were down.I was really missing out by not taking a 5 minute walk. Yeah Xrap,I think I made him mad,lol and as far as his smile,it will be when he is holding the bigger fish

Well,after the last 2 days the older boy wanted a shot at one of these fish so after supper off we went.No sign of any pike this time and action was slow to start.He didn't want to get his shoes wet so thought it would be better to just wear his socks. He was the first to catch a fish. He was really rubbing it in until... This pretty much shut him up,lol. Started getting dark after this so we left. He has already challenged me for tomorrow so will have another report.
