  1. I'll give it a whirl if you want TJ. I can fish, catch and take pictures
  2. Yup, that's gotta hurt, but as they said, the rules are the rules. They obviously knew they were breaking them when they purchased a licence on the way in.
  3. Lets hope it is the last Wayne. Forever!!!!

Thanks Joey.. have a feeling they may give her another round after surgery.. as she might not be in this boat if they'd done that last time!

Well I would say,the mild temps and all this rain,NO FISHING. Trip to miss, for some smoked meats me thinks. Terry, you in?

  4. A big congrats to your son Greg. That is a nice laker for sure
  5. Teams are up. 7 people per team (including captains), except for two teams only have 6 at this point as we were needing 1 more sign up and then a sign up cancelled. I'm sure we'll have a few more sign ups soon and will even out all the teams! Let the trash talk begin and lets get some team names picked. Captains, please remember to PM me your team name so I can update the discussion threads with them!!!!!
  6. Okay, teams are up. 7 per team, except 2 teams are pending 1 member each as 1 more was needed and 1 cancelled!

  7. Sly had one of those. It was a pretty cool machine. I took pics, I'll try to dig them up!
  8. Sorry to hear about your uncle, Mike. I'm sure he'll get a kick out of the article and I'm glad he'll be around to read it. A big congrats to you bud!!! Playing in the big league now
  9. Best of Luck Pete. I know you can do it, and although 900 cals a day will be hard, it can be done. The hardest part I'm afraid to say is keeping it off after. I hope they have a plan for you for the "after" part. If not, I'd suggest Weight Watchers to keep you on track. I've done lots of diets and weight loss programs, as I don't like to get over a certain weight. I can attest that it creeps back on very easily, but if you stay on top of it, you can keep it off for good!! Updates would be great !!
  10. Way to go B Them looks darn tasty
  11. Great stuff Terry. We may have to head up a bit more north too. This waiting for Simcoe is for the birds Some really nice fish there and love the videos.
  12. Way to go Dave. Nice mess of perch there. I can't wait to get out
  13. Oh I know eh B, Ralphie just loves it when it's deep. He kind of jumps up from all fours when it's really deep, sproing, sproing
  14. I'm extremely happy with Ralphie, our French Bulldog. He has proven he loves the boat, loves going on trips to cabins (we'll be testing him on camping this year), is great travelling and loves the snow! I even took him tobogganing the other week and he loved that! He did not too bad in the water, but was less than a year old when we tested his swimming skills last summer, so this summer will be a better indicator. He wasn't too bad to house train and I'm slowly teaching him other things now. He is extremely loyal and loving and loves all other dogs and really loves children! I also noticed he is very smart. From the description of Frenchies I read when making my decision to get one, one of my drawbacks was that they said they were not very intelligent. Well I lucked out as Ralphie is very intelligent.
  15. Woohoo, great pics and video Simon. Love the sunset and fish You gonna be a captain again this year? I haven't seen you sign up yet for the 2013 tourney!!!
  16. Cool report. Looks nice and warm down there
  17. Well the day before Halloween, right here in Richmond Hill, a coyote came up to me while walking Ralphie. I think he had eyes on Ralphie being a snack until he saw me! When I was younger, living on the townsite in Elliot Lake, we had lots of bear encounters. The closest was two of us walking to a friends house and as we rounded the corner of the house, there was a huge black bear sitting there looking at us not 2 feet away. I don't think I've ever ran faster in my life away from it!! Oh, and not wild, but I had a retarded (or shall I say mentally challenged) 20 hands high horse rear up and lunge for my neck with his teeth bared. Just about got me too from what everyone said. I ducked and ran. I still rode horses after that tho, not like scaredy pants Burtess I have found most wild animals will avoid you at all cost and are generally more afraid of you than you are of them!! Just doesn't feel like it
  18. Sun up to sun down Great report and some nice Jack there
  19. Just beautiful Roy. I can say I've had a few delicious meals at that very table myself I agree tho, you need a few more close ups of your spectacular paintings And, tell the truth, how much Christmas stuff DIDN'T J put out this year, a closet full, I now she has more
  20. Ya, what Terry said, we'll find a spot for yous no prob
  21. Oh we'll definately be doing it again Terry, as soon as the ice is good out there. Paul had the auger going last weekend and was doing a "trial run" of what fits where in the snowmobile trailer with our huts etc. PM's will be flying soon
  22. Don't forget, ice varies. It was New Years day 2008 or 2009 that Terry, Paul and I went out on Cook's Bay and I caught that huge carp. The ice was 4 to 5 inches in most spots, but one spot we were on it was only 2" Use your heads and be safe!
  23. Great machine Gerritt. I hope we'll see you out on Simcoe this year then
  24. You know, you should really learn how to catch some larger fish and take some better pictures Epic as always Drew, and congrats to Bren
  25. Well we're ready to roll too Some ice on Simcoe would be nice. Guess we may have to travel a bit further north now that I saw this report. Got my ice fishing juices flowing Thanks for the great report guys
