  1. Nice of you to spend some time with your grandma - 100!! wow that's special. And nice pics btw..... I too like the one of your rod and its reflection.
  2. Great read. I applauded your decision to turn away from being near that cave. Where did the fearlessness of being a child go, you know, exploring those caves? lol I for one am fed up with myself and my fears. But I just don't know how to muster up the umph to go it on my own. I can't seem to feel at ease in unknown territory.....perhaps if I go when I'm pmsing I may even scare the bears.
  3. Melissa is quite the fishergirl. And just to give you a bit of insight on the boy thing......being a girl who likes to fish will get her loads of dates. haha I almost had my 14 year old son tempted to come with me last summer....I had hooked a pike with HIS rod. But then the bugger hid the rod on me. Hoping to drag his little tush away from XBOX live this season for a round or two with mom.
  4. I just love it when Mums continue to surprise their kids. Great memories for sure and don't worry she'll be back.
  5. I've always loved that song. When I hear it...I think of my very best friend of 25 years...she truly has stood by me and I by her. Great video...thanks for sharing.
  6. Does Tybo have a brother? kidding, just kidding. I buy the New Car smelly things... Nice Joey...congrats.
  7. No question you have been offended....and I believe would find fault no matter how Holdfast would have handled his day. Let it go.
  8. Great read and pics....funny too. Who's Joe? lol
  9. Excellent Holdfast....I'm impressed with how you handled the day with your new friend 'Turd Boy' lol I'm sure he'll keep you entertained with many a story.
  10. Thanks for the suggestions guys. I did have a friend look at it and he believes it is a surface scratch and gave me a name of someone to see. But....I'm going to give what some of you have suggested a try first. Thanks again.
  11. I've rubbed it everyday for a week it's there to stay.
  12. Nice Fish Bly!
  13. I'm not certain as to what kind of a scratch a key makes....but now I'm more concerned about rust. Looking for suggestions on how to fix this without needing a complete paint job. Thanks, Nancy
  14. Similar to the story of the person putting the trailer in cruise control and going back to make a sandwich. I don't have a GPS yet...but appreciate this thread.
  15. I sure did get a chuckle from this. Every now and then something/someone comes along and shakes up our world. He hasn't made a good 'first impression' on ya, but that doesn't mean he has no worth. Your town sounds very small and I would think pretty 'tight'...he just may need a little guidance. Sometimes the lowly can be the most loyal. I too am looking forward to hearing how your day goes.
  16. Congrats to Melissa - good job. And great on you Jacques for your 'quality' time with your daughter.
  17. Very tragic and so sad. The mind can take us to horrible places....but they were together and I hope that the father/husband will find some comfort in that.
  18. I didn't see anyone chewing....I feel bad for that fish
  19. well.... if you get a rod and reel....she should go out and buy a very nice pair of leather Italian shoes....those last. (so hard being a woman....definitely a man's world)
  20. ok...now say sorry for saying "never trust a woman" ....come on, say it. lol
  21. I received those pics too at work a week or so ago with a few others...apparently they came from Russia is what was indicated...again, who knows.
  22. That is good news...and this was a good thread. I am wiser
  23. I'm not a teacher, and have to say that I'm not so sure I would want to be. Times have changed, laws have changed, much has changed. In many ways it's a doggie dog world and I would think that any one of us would like to make more money. Haven't they though agreed on some things although I'm not too 'up' on their 'demands'. Depressing is what it is to be living in our messed up world....it's tough being a young person trying to figure out what profession to get into, never mind having to deal with peer pressure, troubles at home and some teacher in your face cuz you didn't get your homework done...where and how do young people get rid of their stress...cuz they have it too....do you think maybe it happens in the classroom...no doubt some of it does....one teacher with 30 or more young people who are getting ticked off at the world because in their eyes adults messed up and that one adult standing up there getting the summers off, driving a nice car should really 'earn' their easy money. Who knows eh.
  24. I had to try twice to connect (roughly around 3:08).... took a bit for the site to open and since then....going pretty good.
  25. that was good...poor little guy....loved that scream and daddy says yes to having 4 eyes...too much.
