  2. Good. Figured rivet would get someone else ^ more interested then river.
  3. Can't help with the rivet, but I can help with the river, I think. If you use the full editor you should be able to change the river/rivet.
  4. Nice! I spent the day shopping for appliances.
  5. Photojournalist will be traveling the country taking photos until 2017. For more information about the project, visit www.canadianmosaic.ca. http://www.thebarrieexaminer.com/2013/04/07/photojournalist-will-be-in-barrie-on-monday-snapping-photos Photojournalist will be in Barrie on Monday snapping photos: Smile... you could become part of the Canadian Mosaic project. Since the beginning of the project on Oct. 1, 2008, 19,500 portraits from every province and territory in Canada have been created by photojournalist Tim Van Horn. Every year until 2017, Van Horn will traverse the Canadian cultural landscape, photographing thousands of Canadians, meticulously recording each individual story. Van Horn and his van will be travelling around Barrie's downtown and the waterfront on Monday, April 8, snapping photos. This project attempts to unite the country, a people, in one single all encompassing, euphoric visual. Each one of us has a story to tell and to share. The Canadian Mosaic project brings our unique, interconnected stories together into one spell-binding visual. The Canadian Mosaic project’s mission is to create an astonishing 36,000 portraits. This number represents a seemingly miniscule .1% of the population of Canada but it will be the most comprehensive portrait ever created on the Canadian people. The collective story of these 36,000 portraits will converge and weave together a spectacular, ‘prism of life:’ shining a spotlight on the meaning of life.
On Canada Day in 2017, for Canada’s 150th birthday, a larger-than-life 30x100 foot Canadian flag mosaic will be unveiled at a major Canadian museum. This living tapestry of life, will play an instrumental role to bring together the people of Canada.
The task at hand is to focus, gather and define the sentiment of the Canadian people across the gamut of Canadian society: from all regions, inclusive of all ethnic/socioeconomic groups, sub-cultures and generations. For more information about the project, visit www.canadianmosaic.ca.

My wife bought the tickets long a go from the box office. The people around us paid a lot of money. Great show!

  9. I may take a look tomorrow (Vaughan location) when I'm down in the city buy new appliances.
  10. I find a nice strip of belly meat from a 55inch ski works better then worms for eyes.
  11. You said it. I'll tackle a couple of things in this post. I'm sure others will chime in as well. Longer rods can be a pain in yaks and canoes. I usually use 6 and 6.5 foot rods. Another thing to consider but not always directly related to rod length is the length of the butt section. A longer one can "catch" a lot more when you're using a SOT. Nothing wrong with a mono leader with braid, but in some situations I'll tie right to the lure or snap. I use fluorocarbon most of the time if I do want a leader and the pound test will depend on the conditions and the aplication. Open water walleye/bass versus snaggy pike/bass type of thing.
  12. Nice little slice of heaven there Lew. A coffee, a book and the view.
  13. A healthy tree can withstand a hole from a woodpecker. Woodpeckers will not put multiple holes in a tree unless they are finding food.
  14. They're not the ones killing the tree. They're eating the "bugs" that are killing/killed the tree.
  15. For most the best option is to look at line diamiter. Some reels now also list the braid capacity. Not sure how accurate it it though.
  16. March weather doesn't matter much. April, May does matter.
  17. Someone here caught a bass with a hotdog weiner. A pb, I think.
  18. Welcome. Not all the nuts are on trees around here.
  19. I wasn't even close… but I didn't go over.
  20. I want to see some of those hillbilly hand fishers try noodlein' for those cats in Dunnville, in April.
  21. Weak stomach? Watch the NCAA basketball highlights from today's game.
  22. That ^ better be a "before" pic Lew, otherwise that cork is too clean.
  23. Another aspect of a show that increases the likelihood that I'll watch it is the "Would I want to spend a day fishing with this guy?" factor. In other words, I'll spend more time watching someone I like catch 1.5lb bass, then a loudmouth catching10 plus pound walleye or 50 inch muskie. The X factor is we all have different preferences in fishing partners. The world would be an awfully boring place if we all liked the same thing.
  24. Some of the shows I like, some I tolerate and many are not for me. Different strokes.
  25. Personal preferences aside, it does make a rod lighter and that can make a difference where sensitivity is concerned. But a split grip on a mediocre rod will not turn it into a magic wand. The bare butt section is exposed to the abuse that comes with fishing.
