  1. Ouch, only 1 out of a possible 6 really hurts.
  2. There is no 2stroke on your broken auger?
  3. Are you using photobucket? They changed a few things recently, and I'm still trying to figure some stuff out.
  4. Nobody liked what happened at the end of that fight.
  5. No sign of the biggest punchline on the board since before last nights game until after tonight's game. Stay classy.
  6. He "jumped in the Calabogie Lake real fast and swam both ways to catch a cross eyed bass, but he threw it to the ground and said "I can't eat that," so he covered it up with Mount St. Pat."
  7. From Yahoo news: His family gave the staff at stompintom.com a message he wanted passed along upon his death: Hello friends, I want all my fans, past, present, or future, to know that without you, there would have not been any Stompin' Tom. It was a long hard bumpy road, but this great country kept me inspired with it's beauty, character, and spirit, driving me to keep marching on and devoted to sing about its people and places that make Canada the greatest country in the world. I must now pass the torch, to all of you, to help keep the Maple Leaf flying high, and be the Patriot Canada needs now and in the future. I humbly thank you all, one last time, for allowing me in your homes, I hope I continue to bring a little bit of cheer into your lives from the work I have done.
  8. News reports of Stompin' Tom Connors death at 77. Rest in peace.
  9. People can eat what ever they want, however they want. Personal preferences and tastes are exactly that. But if your walleye and lake trout taste the same you're cooking one, or likely both, wrong… or using enough Catchup to make a 10 year old gag.
  10. Can't help with the RV part but you can do all you've listed in or around the park. The friends of Algonquin have a website that might help with your plans. There are short "lookout" type hikes along the hwy 60 coridor as well as longer (6-plus km) hikes. they have bike trails, both single track and trail. The Barron Cannon area on the eastern side is a bit of a drive from the Hwy 60 area but is worth it, IMO.
  11. http://www.nugget.ca/2013/03/04/35-lb-lake-trout-caught Last Thursday, Trout Creek's Keith Linklater was fishing with John Harding, of Temagami Lake On-Ice Bungalows, and landed this 35 lb lake trout. Linklater said it was a day with strong north winds and blowing snow. He caught the fish at 10:30 a.m. in 115 feet of water on Lake Temagami. It measured 42 inches long with a girth of 25 inches. On closer inspection, Linklater found another line hanging out of its mouth.
  12. No point in having a dog trained to sniff out fish sitting at home in front of the fire.
  13. With a camera and a big treble on a spoon you might be able to get it back no?
  14. Nice, and neat. Now about those spoons you made. Why no photos?
  15. If it was summer, this would be my first guess:
  16. TJ soakes the feed in jack daniels then just picks up the bird when it falls over.
  17. We're cleaning the basement in preparing our house before we sell it. I came across some boxes that my mom packed up long-ago when I left home, and then have sat in my basement for 10 years. I thought this might interest some here. There is no date on it, but it has been packed away for 20 years.
  18. Two pounds of venison.
  19. I think we may now know where they get their start: http://ca.shine.yahoo.com/blogs/parenting/needs-sleep-toddler-practices-face-plants-parents-watch-183900590.html
  20. Chopper blows deer off of ice. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/weird-news/watch-helicopter-rescue-stranded-deer-1735311
  21. They use a parachute to land I believe.
  22. In all seriousness, a lot of these people have extensive parachuting experience. It is a little easier to learn to fly from a plane then a cliff I guess.
  23. I started by jumping off my bed. Then from progressively higher up the stairs. Next, my older cousin said to jump out the second floor bedroom window with superman cape. And that is where my cliff jumping career ended.
  24. First time I heard it was on another wing-suit video. I'm not up for those types of thrills but that wing-suit might just be the most fun a person can have with their clothes on.
  25. Sail by Awol Nation. It's now used in a bmw commercial.
