Actually it was caught in August 1974 and that picture was a snowmobile I used to own, a 1984 SkiDoo ss25 but neither has anything to do with the other and I just needed a place to stick the SkiDoo picture LOL

Another skin mount still in great shape that I had mounted way back in '74 Fish was 45" and it cost me $125.25 to have it done. I hate the fact that I intentionally killed that musky but it was the 1st one I ever caught and sadly killing them back then was just the norm and I never killed another one. This mount now hangs at a buds fishing lodge up on Nippissing.

You won't be sorry for adding it to your box, but try trolling it at different distances from your boat, even real close, like 5' back of the transom and you may be very happy you did.

Anytime I was going to troll, a Jailbird Believer was nearly always the 1st bait I clipped on and they're an excellent musky bait..

Big fish Bud, way to go !!

Gonna look good when it's done Brian & congrats to your son for getting certified. Very easy to remember when I got my 1st tattoo, myself and my 3 buds went up to the Navy recruiting office at Young & St. Clair and joined the Navy then drove down to Jarvis & Dundas and all got tattooed. While we were sitting in the tat shop it came over the radio that JFK had just been shot. Nov. 22 1963 Long time ago now.

My wife picked me up a new mask from the local pharmacy today and when I opened it and read the label I found out it was made in China. Found that pretty ironic....or maybe it's just me.

No interest in SpringRock John, it'd be good to have you guys 5 minutes away ? -
As I've mentioned here before, my son was an iron worker for 20 years before being killed in a fall on the job. Apart from putting up skyscrapers, his company also erected and dismantled those huge tower cranes like the 2 that have collapsed in the last couple weeks. Years ago I knew my son was dismantling a tower crane in downtown Toronto but I didn't know exactly where. I had the noon news on and they reported a crane had collapsed and one of the guys working on it had been killed. I called the police station closest to where the accident was and told the person on the desk I was trying to find out if it was my son that was killed. They transferred me to the officer in charge of the station and he told me he wasn't allowed to give out the name of the deceased until next-of-kin were notified, but said to give him my son's name and he could tell me yes or no. Thankfully it wasn't Jim but to this day I think of that every time one of these cranes come down. Those guys do a job most would never have the nerve to do.

Glad to hear everyone agrees with me that it turned out good, it cost me $55.00 but to me anyways I think it was well worth the price.

I've been telling you guys for years that IS my smile 😁

Thanks Terry, really happy with the outcome.

This is one of our wedding pictures that had been tucked away years ago and forgotten about and when I found it last week it was in pretty poor shape. I sent it to a photography studio in Hamilton that restores old and damaged pictures and I was really happy with the results. Original picture will be 54 years old in 2 months.

Tilt to starboard side on 2003 Legend Xcite 164
lew replied to Raycaster's topic in General Discussion
Sorry Raycaster but that's not what I was implying, I was just suggesting on smaller side console boats that one person sitting behind the wheel will definitely cause it to lean that way. My Bro in Law had a similar size Legend and it leaned like yours from Day 1. -
I took this totally untouched sunrise pic from from Ashbridges Bay about 12 years ago and liked it so much I have it hanging in my home.

Tilt to starboard side on 2003 Legend Xcite 164
lew replied to Raycaster's topic in General Discussion
A 16' Legend isn't a very big boat and if your in the boat by yourself your 200lbs will definitely throw the boat over to the right side. It could very well be wet foam but I'm guessing it may just be your own weight all on one side plus the added weight of the steering console that's causing the issue. -
Very very nice !!

Wow, your a very talented man, plus obviously strong like bull LOL Great job !!
