  1. It's summertime in Ontario boyz...it gets hot.
  2. Saw that on another website this morning TJ, a real brute for sure !!
  3. We run the air conditioner during the day when it's brutally hot like this, but then after the sun goes down we shut it off, open the sliding patio doors in the bedroom and put the ceiling fan on in reverse. It pulls all the cool outside air into the bedroom and it's just like sleeping in the great outdoors....minus the skitters.
  4. If you tell the troops where you live Greg, it'll help narrow it down.
  5. Thank you Mother
  6. I threw my strawberry Sledge for a couple hours this morning and all I got for my troubles was a silly bass that thought he was a big fish.
  7. Most productive Sledge for me is a Strawberry color and for Suicks, perch works well, and for both baits I recommend the largest, weighted version. In warm water work them fast and eratic over heavy weeds and you'll do well.
  8. Yeah I hear ya, it's just something that's always rubbed me the wrong way, specially when it's a TV fishing show where the host spends the whole show plugging his sposors products. Maybe it's time to get back out in the yard and finish my work and stop ruining fishing reports Oh, and nice fish BTW.
  9. I dunno, maybe it's just me, but when I read a fishing report and the OP is telling me how great some new lures are, I'm happy for him that he found something he likes. Then I go to his signature and read where he's actually on the pro staff of the company that manufactures the lures he bragging about, the post suddenly turns into nothing more than SPAM as far as I'm concerned. But then again, that's only my poinion.
  10. I've got a heavy glass boat and have never had an issue with the strap. As for the quality of a new winch, I'd never cheap out on something that important and would suggest you buy the best you can afford. But that's just me.
  11. I can't offer any advice on lodges, but best of luck wherever you end up for your trip, there's some monster fish in Wisconsin.
  12. Good on ya for doing this Will and congrats to everyone for some great catches.
  13. I do it twice a year, every year. Sure wouldn't want to be stranded on the side of a hiway with a flat and couldn't get the spare down due to laziness.
  14. Have a blast up there Roy and all I ask is that you leave a couple slimers for me for August.
  15. What a fantastic way to spend the day...despite the bugs !!
  16. You know your always welcome Brian, just don't tell any of my friends you actually fish for those silly little green fish
  17. Just funnin with ya bud
  18. Outstanding couple days for sure Doug, and it would seem you've been having a great season so far.
  19. Is this what he's calling his musky Joey ??? jeeeez, I thought that was his bait
  20. It's quite common to get a couple muskies from the same spot, specially if there's some good structure there. Whenever I release a musky, my next 1/2 dozen casts will be back to the same spot the 1st one came from. Doesn't always happen, but more times than alot of folks would think. I was drifting through a small shallow stand of pencil reeds one time in about 2' of water and came across 7 fish all gathered in a spot not as big as my boat and all were at least 45" And if your fishing for muskies, ALWAYS do a figure 8 and you'll see a huge increase in the number of fish you'll catch.
  21. Great pictures
  22. Yeah, I spose you've got a point there Brian hahaha
  23. I just wish I got paid for catching them like the Musky Hunter
  24. Always good to hear about a company taking care of customers in the proper way when there's a problem.
  25. Not a big deal really, but I think the rod socks I bought last year have made life much simpler now that I can haul my rods outta the locker without everything getting tangled up anymore.
