  1. We've got 5 Samsung LCD's Dave and they've all been excellent for the 3 1/2 years we've had them without a single hiccup so far. If I was to buy another TV tomorrow, it'd be another Samsung LCD.
  2. Yup, me too, both great places.
  3. Most of my musky baits are basic off the shelf stuff, but I often tweek them to suit various needs. Some I'll add weights to, others I remove rattles, on some 3 treble twitch baits I'll remove the center hook and upsize the front hook and often if a color doesn't produce, I'll repaint it.
  4. Seems like some parks don't want anything over 10 years of age. As I suggested above, just check with the owners of the park your interested in and be sure that trailer will be OK there for a few years. A friend of mine has been in a park for alot of years but his trailer is now 11 years old and he had to remove it from the park.
  5. I've caught an awful lot of night time muskies over alot of years and in my experience the vast majority hit right at boatside as your starting a figure 8. Not many things in fishing get the heart pounding more than a big ole musky hammering your bait right under your nose on total darkness
  6. If your pictures aren't already in magazines, they definitely should be, you've got alot of really impressive shots there. You've also got an amazing attitude towards your health issues and I'm sure your an inspiration to many.
  7. Alot of the trailer parks no longer allow older trailers on site, infact some parks are forcing those with older units out, so be sure of the regs in the parks before you buy or commit to anything.
  8. Always good spending time with you guys Jim. Here's that pic I took of you.
  9. If it's only 8k, have you talked to the marina about them coming and getting it themselves ??
  10. Hooking into muskies at night is a blast and you got a real nice one there, congrats on getting your PB
  11. Top water baits can be effective any time of day and even work well when the water is choppy. I don't fish after dark much anymore but we used to do it alot and a favorite tactic was using a 10" black jointed Believer clipped on the shallow eye and work it slowly over shallow water. The combination of the slow rhythmic wobble of the bait on the surface, along with the clicking of the rattles is irresistible to muskies and you'll be surprised at how many you get.
  12. Great stuff Brian, always good to see the kids having a blast !!
  13. Interesting that outta 15 follows, only one fish committed. Were they aggressive follows or only out for a look ??
  14. Actually Randy, the truck is dark brown I was definitely in that gas station yesterday & towing the Skeeter but I don't know how the heck I could have missed you if we were both sitting in the truck ?? It's funny but we always stop there on the way home for gas and a Timmies, and ever since I first ran into you there a few years back I always look for you. Next time be a bit more forceful when you're banging on my window, my old ears aren't that they used to be.
  15. Yup, that's where I got mine too.
  16. I'm in agreement with Roy on the Guest chargers. I put one on a new boat back in '99, used it for 10 years then sold the boat to a bud and the Guest is still going strong after 14 years. My current boat came with a built in MK charger but if it didn't, I'd be using another Guest.
  17. Your right about that, I could watch those birds all day long. We had a mink (I think) run across the front lawn yesterday and then almost immediately a Golden Eagle started circling 50 above my head so I assume he was after the little guy, but I never got to the camera in time.
  18. But it's not all bad cause within a 1/4 mile of the cormorants there's Osprey, Bald Eagles and Golden Eagles, but I haven't gotten close enough to the Goldens for a picture yet. I love seeing this stuff
  19. Don't have any Rich, the cormorants ate all the muskies
  20. Atta boy Mike !!....and Bro
  21. I was fishing Nippissings West Arm this morning and things began getting a little crowded. It was very windy and I was a ways away so the picture is a bit blurry, but you get the idea
  22. We don't know what was going thru the cops mind and perhaps he even thought there was still someone on the streetcar with the guy holding the knife. Personally, I'd just as soon wait till the truth comes out before some of you guys lynch the cop.
  23. Vamp Spook maybe
