  1. And wait till 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and more sure fire tackle to come that will make 16 stuff obsolete. Keep buying you dopes. Once my hooks from my 1973 F10 Black and Silver Rapps rust off and the lips are broken and won't take anymore Guerilla Glue I'll buy new used ones at the swap meet in Hamilton. Or I will put the gleep on a few of my fishing buddies because they never use them an they have a JY Yamamatsu 4D 719 Jerk Hammer Dive Slash Power Scented Nuclear Bait that they paid 17 bucks for and they saw Izumi hammer them on TV Saturday morning. Believe it or not I don't have a Whacky Rig, yet. If the fish hit I'll stay with the 3 green garbage bags of plastic I have never used. Give me a Silver and Black F5 in Spring and a F10 Rappala in Summer and Fall and I'll show you a fish.
  2. We need name cards to ID us OFC rats that we didn't need for our G2G in Hamilton. Wormdunker actually printed some up, bless his soul. There were only a dozen of us so not required. Or maybe we can develop a secret hand shake for OFC members for the swap meet or if we meet someone in France or Istanbul, then we will know he or she is one of us in our secret society.......... Maybe ball caps are easier. If you pay for them I will sell. Of course with permission from the secret society, Art, Spiel et all.
  3. Many white collar criminals that received greater than 2 years never went to Millhaven, ever. Many if not most went to Worksworth Golf and Country Club. That is a fact. I remember a W5 program they did 20 or more years ago when they interview, can I say Black?, inmates that crossed the border from Detroit to rob a few banks from Sarnia to London out of Detroit that said they never lived in better conditions in their lives than our min security prisons because there wasn't room in Kingston. BBq's, TV's with cable, stereos, a veggie garden, putting green, pool table, 3 men for 3 bedroom condo, weekends off, I'll never forget that. All inclusive destination? Worksworth G&CC. They said they never had better living conditions and if they stayed for life it would be better than living home with 12 in a 2 bedroom apt. They chose Canada in case they got convicted.
  4. I'll take 4 pair, then it will never get cold.
  5. He will end up in Worksworth, a country club. We should have a prisoner exchange and send him to Angola, Dannemora or L.A. County Jail. Now we are talking incarceration.
  6. Come on Brian, he has money, is in construction family business in TO, his last name ends in a vowel, yea he's in the Mafia. I resemble that remark except for the money part. Yes I have been accused by a few Mangia Caca's myself.
  7. I believe you Rick, not that I would ever doubt you. We went up to Port Severn, I think around 3 hours from Hamilton. Fished for the day and kept a few eaters including a 25" Pike threw them in a cooler and bought a bag of ice and throw it in. We get back to Hamilton and are unloading the boat. Empty the cooler, this is for you, this one's yours this is mine. Buddy throws the Pike on the lawn and it starts jumping around. Scared the living shatittle out of me. I had just started fishing maybe a year before. I think most of us has scared a kid or adult or two holding a Pike heart in our hand and watching it beat for 5 minutes.
  8. I did cross Okeechobee off my bucket list before the term was popular. My PB was 7 pounds 6 ozs. Our guide said I lost bigger fish until I lost my fear of pulling through slop.I think that us non Largie guys that fineness fish here have that fear and loose nice fish. If I can get a small 8 pounder there anyone can. Note, using 10" or bigger shinners on balloon floats you can see from 100 feet and a guide that has xray vision must help.
  9. Forget about their sales go to the Hamilton Bassmasters Spring Swap Sale. I don't know exactly when, someone here knows. Speil when is it this year?
  10. Rick, no one can keep track of OUR stories, not even us.
  11. A very kind gesture. OFC rocks.
  12. Buy them from a bait shop that can give them 02 and keep them cool. I have had them stay alive in the bag for at least 16 hours.
  13. When the wind is blowing driving snow in Blizzard like conditions and you have shelter stick the compass in your pocket and stay put until the weather passes. Give the GPS coordinates to the authorities and stay put. If you only have a sled for shelter then you have no choice but to move and find shelter. The goal is not to reach home base it is to find shelter. If you have walked out and do not have shelter and get stuck in a Blizzard, my condolences to the family. To freeze to death can't be a great way to die. It has to be slow, unlike burning to death or drowning.
  14. Fantastic Vince, you sure are headed in the right direction if it's tourney Bass fishing in your future. You had then dialed in really well that weekend that's a for sure. It is nice to have one of own representing all of us fish heads.
  15. I can change my opinion. At 2:49 the fish let out a great burp of air. Definitely still alive then for sure. Very still after that. They are fishing in US waters, if it were overseas the fishermen that come to help would have talked to them in Russian first not English. Her accent is Wisconsin, northwestern Illinois or eastern Minnesota. But north mid western for sure. He may be Canadian. I hope they would have released that fish before it died, that size fish expended a huge amount of energy.
  16. I don't know where they were. There might be few clues in the video. I don't even know if they are speaking Russian. M2B2, you have to tell the tale now, it's in the OFC rules. No teasers.
  17. Couldn't agree more, great sage advise.
  18. That's some mighty fine woodworking there Constable. What I enjoy best is the rustic look and melding it with contemporary design on some work.
  19. I'd have to get back into the Gym and train like a warrior to take one on.
  20. Don't get me going too. I want to do something that I shouldn't when I think about what's going on. 20 some odd years of 21 turns and Tuesday, Thursday off. Man. Did we work together I wonder? When I left I was basically General Foreman of E Blast Furnace operations on Special Duties which means we don't need you anymore.
  21. I was going to offer my old portable Ultra Eagle for the same price. It works on 2 6 volts. Batteries not included. It has an Ice fishing set up for it if I can find it, 21 years old and marks fish and structure. It's here if one of the deserving members wants to take a ride. I gave away a good inflatable pontoon boat a few years back to some young lad that looked deserving and then saw it on Kigigi a few months latter. I didn't like that.
  22. Are you kidding me? A few Russian plus a Sturgeon = Vodka and Caviar. I don't think it was revivable by the looks of it anyway.
  23. Huzz my friend, you pick some of the most unique places to fish, I give you that. Good luck sir I know you are very passionate about your fishing and I think that is fantastic. Why don't you ask the questions about fishing before you book?
  24. If I take a Russian farm tractor and build a box on the back is it still a tractor or is it a 45 HP Ruskie SUV? Does anyone realize the amount of Armour All it would take to shine those tires? I do NOT want one. Parts can't be had at Princess Auto or CTC. My pal that bought a farm close by got a great deal on a Serbian or Romanian or some Iron Curtain country built tractor. When we went to the local JD dealer for a water pump they could still be heard laughing while we drove away. I pass.
  25. I could spend a month in Halifax area and the south shore and not see or do enough. The same goes for Cape Breton. Save PEI for the next trip and then New Brunswick for the world class Salmon fishing. I have been many times to Nova Scotia now, flights are so cheap fly and rent a car plus the wasted time and the miles put on your personal vehicle, not worth it in my opinion. And stay out of the US if you do drive with the dollars rate today. The price for the ferry at Bar Harbor is in USD. A week in Nova Scotia is a tease so save as much time as possible and fly. A week car rental is cheap now.
