I was listening to CFRB and they said entire wood lots of 100 year old trees ripped out of the ground this afternoon. Can't recall where. Be careful. Someone is house sitting our place as we are away down south and the waves and bloom algae are crashing against the cottage. The beach is 40 feet below the deck.

Must have been a Duzenburg, deleted thread. I snoozed. -
Most aren't employees of the dealership. They are subs that get paid a flat rate for the job whether it takes the 1.5 hours the book says or 4. I will also do my own after the 175,000 KM warranty is up. If you have it done from someone that isn't qualified according to GM, Ford or whoever you void your warranty.

I should have said I use to pay that. Now I get it down the same street from the GM dealer now for 80 bucks including all fluid top ups and tire rotation. I think the synthetic oil is 40 or something. My wife went into the same GM dealer I bought the truck new from to say she needed some nitrogen in her tire. The sticker on the window says free N2 top ups at any GM dealer. They laughed at her, not only that they called her Honey. Oh my. I know the service asst. since he was 8 years old. I went in to see them, no Police were called. It cost that dealer a sale as I was looking at a new car there. No way, no how. They don't even have N2 there. My sales guy got a please don't email me about having a buyer for my truck. He wasn't too happy as he lost that future commission. Searles GM, Caledonia On.

The woman doesn't have a clue. She should stick to Toronto Sushi Bar revues. I love "did you throw it back?" -

Thanks for the links all. Mike sure did a fantastic job. Not everyone can do a 1 on 1 interview as smooth as that. Not like he does it everyday. He didn't even say "uhhh" after every sentence like someone we know. -
And with the battery pack slung over your shoulder the outfit came in just over 10 pounds, and you were never so cool.

Come on Art. No politics but throw me a line to an old one. I can still read locked threads, no? It's getting boring around here and Fox news vs. CNN and Politico.com is way out of hand. edit: Not the site that is getting boring, my activities this summer. Too much wind to fish here and watching my Tomatoes turn red or the swelling in my knees go up and down is no fun at all. -
Bluegill and Sunfish Hotspots in Tiny, ON

Get a dozen worms, a handful of minnows and a 2 and 4 year old. Put the minnows in a bucket and go to a dock. Bait the hooks with whatever and a red and white bobber. Then watch the 2 and 4 year old watch the minnows in the bucket until they get bored with it. In my experience they could care less if they caught a fish. If you do get one put it in the bucket and they are good for another hour. Oh I've been there and done that. My 5 year old niece caught her first fish and it had to be a 3 lb Smallie (edit: maybe a pound and a half) on her brand new pink Barbie rod. She threw the rod in the water and of course I got wet. She could care less, she however couldn't keep her eyes off the minnows in the bucket. Now I'm fishing with her 5 year old daughter with the same Barbie rod. The 2 and 4 year old have the concentration of a,,,,, well 2 and 4 year old. Have fun and don't turn it into a fishing expedition, they are babies remember. You don't need a "hot spot" you need patience. Don't be disappointed because you might, I think you are overthinking this fishing trip. What are you going to do if they hate fishing? -
I've seen this done twice, both times deep fried at the table. 1st time was Toronto not Taiwan, the second time was in Osaka, at our table. Great way to clear a table of a bunch of Canadians. The Japanese hosts were mortified by some of the guys reactions. Now if I was going to eat Carp this is the way to do it, mmmmmmmmmmm!!!

Another reward for a good member that voices his opinion. Bash him, not good all. Because I don't agree with someone there is no need to get personal. I hold 1 Musky in higher regard than a 1000 Carp, if not for there scarcity alone. And I have met guys fishing Carp in Hamilton Bay that hold Carp as the only fish worth catching. I personally think they may have a screw loose but don't break their bubble by telling them that. There is no such thing as Musky traps like there are Carp traps I don't believe. I saw them dumping Carp in a dump truck taking them to who knows where. I eat neither by the way. -
I don't feel so bad now for being photo saving challenged.

Salmon Charter boat runs over planer board video (facebook)
Old Ironmaker replied to PUMP KNOWS's topic in General Discussion
Yea had an idiot do the same thing then screamed and blamed us because our chewed up line really fouled up his prop. Then we towed him in and he started beaking off again as soon as he was safe on shore in his locked truck. We were the ones that should have been P'd off, not him. I have FB now, how do you get to his FB page? -
Rick I had to buy a 2" format Hassleblad in 73' to attend Sheridan, $3500.00 bucks then, I dropped out after Football season, no camera. I have an old single reflex Practica that I paid for with Steinburg's Pinky stamps in High School, grade 9 I think, I turned down 500 years ago. What am I going to do with an extra 500 bucks, 2 dinners out and some gas for the boat. I'll keep it. I have a box full of old cameras from 3 Leica's that were my wife's Grand Fathers to an old 60's era Nikon. I have to see what I have there. The problem is they made 100's of thousands of cameras a year maybe more. Who's old enough to remember Pinky stamps, man you must be old if you do.

I'm getting out my 35MM cameras and talking the film in to the Drug Store. I shouldn't have sold all my film processing stuff years ago. Just like wax records film is going to make a comeback.

I tried to view some old pics that were on memory cards and got a "memory card error" on the screen. Not just 1 card either. Both laptop and tablet. Now what? Do these things have a shelf life? Maybe 10 years old. I do know CD's and DVD's break down over the years.

Heck I only pay $110.00 for a freekin' oil change!!!

Who in Heavens name needs to save 5000 personal photos? M2B2 that's who. Take it from this older guy now that has about 10 huge boxes of faded photographs and slides some going back to 1800's that were my wife's Great Grand parents. The only time you look at a few of them is before you give them to the next generation or in her case some to the Niagara Historical Society. But I get it otherwise I wouldn't have 10 boxes of the things.

Happens during camp, of course, but not 5 games into the season. At least not with teams that are not 0 and 5. I take it back, Kent won't be fired. He wears too many hats, VP of Operations amongst others. I want the team to do well. Since almost every team in this 8 team league makes the playoffs they still have a chance to be in the Grey Cup believe it or not. Go Cats Go. -

Fist fight breaks out yesterday between QB1 Collaros and his O line and members of the defense. And Austin is laughing it off this AM on CHCH as normal, it's not. I understand a coach can only work with what's given him and he doesn't have much but the revolving door that is the CFL teams all have the same problem, player turnover. Disrespecting the so called leader on your team by teammates and physically trying to hurt him is just ridiculous. There's a reason he wears a red shirt at practice. The coach has lost this team. -
I don't know if we are talking about the same "Gull Rocks" but I sharpened my Walleye teeth there trolling harnesses. I came up to the in-laws cottage at Bear Creek with some heavy stand up jigs in white or yellow and hammered them with a trailer hook and worm. My Father-in Law refused to use anything but harnesses until I went home, so I was told. Good luck have fun, be safe. That lake can be a killer in a matter of minutes not hours. When the sky turns dark in the distance in any direction leave the water immediately. You might get back before you have to take shelter on shore or in the South Bay. I saw a bright light and was urged to walk to it one sunny afternoon by some unknown voice. I swear. Be careful Sir.

I like my food good and dead before I eat it, most of us do. I am told Carp are good, I will never know for certain. I can tell you Snake tastes like a mild fish. I didn't ask before I ate it. Snails taste like I thought it would, snails.

As I tell everyone that says "I wish I had done it 20 years ago" in 20 years if you don't do it now you will be saying the same thing. Everything is great until the park owner gets an offer he can't refuse. Real estate speculators are buying up trailer parks and developing them into lakefront McMansions. A beachfront site here on Erie at Knights Beach was going for 10K buy in and 5 grand a year rent 6 years ago. No idea how much now. He turned down many millions to develop the land for residential homes, up till now anyway.
