We don't watch many movies in the summer but did tonight. Any good ones out there? I can tell you I just wasted 5 bucks on King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. Game of Thrones wanna be with even more CGI. The best so far in this waste of Hydro was David Beckam's cameo. He actually wasn't bad. Watch for him in a feature film near you soon I bet. The kids may like it. The book was better though. Please have them read it first. What's a book Grandpa?

Good on the kid. Another great Canadian athlete, born in Israel of Soviet parents.

I wish I had that K car today, all 4 doors. I'd go to all the Show and Shines in Dunnville.

Thank you Art. Again off topic a bit. When I was in Italy once a old gent that pals with my Father when they were kids I met had a Sharps hanging above the fireplace. It was sent to his father by an Uncle back in the late 1800's. It was a piece of Artwork. The cool part of the story was that we met in passing, I didn't know him or he me. He had an old King George dollar bill in his wallet he carried since the 50's when Dad sent it to him, Mr. Martini, I'll never forget him. And you are right 40 or more pounds of muscle with a tight shirt on no one would think of bothering me. So I thought but a small guy with a small gun has a huge advantage. When in Fla. years back I was told to wear a fanny pack when out. They sold fanny pack holsters at the bait shop down the road. It has worked, so far. -
OK no more Photo Bucket, now what?

Stop it right now you two. We are almost there, now play nice and stop bugging your brother. Cheaptackle said. "I had to stop watching any kind of video on line to cut that down (a bit!)." I can understand patching into your big screen TV to watch stuff online. What I don't get is watching something on this little screen, and paying for it. I'm trying imger. I finally got what imger meant, what a silly name. Imager stupid. I passed a car lot on Upper James for years that had a sign, astraded.com. I asked my lady "I have a stupid question. Why a name like Astrided for a car lot? First she says "better than anyone else I know" an then told me it's As Traded. I have to be careful asking questions of someone that should be a member of Mensa. If I remember right when I hooked into Photo Bucket they said for X number of jiggabibels or gigabibels it was going to cost me money. At first I said no way, then I was told I don't have that many pics so don't sweat it. If you don't know the cost of Potatos don't go in the French Fry business. -

No one I know can answer me. These shots that go 2 miles was talked about earlier here. ?? Is there a point that a round will begin to tumble rather than rifle through the air? My thread, my digression. -

That was what I was trying t say Pics. It is sad but there are places here in Ontario not just south that just isn't safe to be sometimes at 3AM, to me anyway. We have control of that, don't go there at 3AM. Safe is a state of mind sometimes, not a reality. Just because you can keep and eat a Musky doesn't mean you should. -
don't know if we all know how big an upset this is? This is almost Buster Douglass beating Mike Tyson type of upset. If this kid can keep his head on straight he has a great future in international tennis. He is already the Wimbleton Jr. Champion. As long as he stays away from pretty young female Olympians he will be big. http://www.sportsnet.ca/tennis/inside-post-match-celebration-denis-shapovalov/

That place sounds like a great spot for good fishing. Watched a bit of the videos and as I suspected each is an info-mercial. Does anyone on these shows every just say " I'll get the net" rather then "I'll get the Frabill". I know they have to or no show. Great heads up Spanky. Did that Banjo catch any fish?

Around here it's hockey, baseball ( when the Jays are winning) and fishing in that order. Good for him and Canada.

Kelvin honestly based on my buddies 14' Ran 1500 4x4 Hemi he bought new I wouldn't buy a new Dodge truck. He has had nothing but silly problems with it and it is at the dealership constantly it seems, mostly electronic issues. And 1 big problem. A rear wheel fell off going 100KPH down Hwy 3. Lucky no one was hurt or worse. They won't take responsibility for the damages. Each chrome wheel nut is something crazy like 30 bucks each and a single rim is 600 bucks, and it's chrome clad not solid alloy, wowza.

Did the same thing to find an internal water leaks on a cooling member on Blast Furnaces, a clear hose though. I think we called it a Newfie monometer. Like Dave said hard to see through a garden hose. But I do remember someone using a water hose to find level somehow on TV.

Only $1300.00? I bet my bottom dollar it cost much more. And the second guy's case hasn't come to trial yet.

3 responses 3 different photo sharing sites. I like simple. Why is it Facebook doesn't require to downsize images, or does it? Maybe I have been lucky and the pics were small enough. I wonder if there is a preference OFC might have for this type of service? -

Can you imagine the damage that could be done by some disgruntled or mentally unbalanced Ministry employee that has access to Mike's record of his trip if he or she decided to "leak" Mikes itinerary? -
Trolling Motor Battery, Starter Battery and Electronics
Old Ironmaker replied to fisherman7's topic in General Discussion
I always give the cranking battery a charge the day and night before a trip. I should charge it as soon as I get home like you guys say. Then it's all good to go at a moment's notice. I strongly suggest you invest in a good battery booster, under 100 bucks, small enough now to fit in a glove box and great to carry in the car in winter. I have given folks a boost on the water and the ramp more than once since I got it. Boosted my truck and a neighbours in winter too. -
It smells just like rotting fish.

I actually was able to finally use PB on other sites except this one of course. I asked on a different thread what are you pic gurus going to use now? Any consensus? I see Google used more now. It's going to cost guys like Mr's Bunk and Borger thousands, if they can get them back from the hostage takers at all. I read that the digital formatting of the pics has been tweaked by those Bat Rastards so they are useless unless you pay them, true or fake news? I might then be able to post a photo of a fish I didn't catch myself just to prove I'm having a bad year fishing which is always better than a good year working.

A great point Grimsby. Good press or bad press Mike wouldn't have been able to reach as many individuals with millions of US greenbacks in marketing it would have cost him. Maybe a Super Bowl commercial. This guy Chris Hunt is a twitus duffus extraordinairious (Latin for a big numb skull) . To think he is a trout guru is a joke. After all Algonquin is jam packed with world class trout lakes. Something that struck me he says there are over 2500 lakes in the park with "dozens" of rivers and streams, "dozens". Sometimes I don't think these journalists re read the stuff they write let alone an editor. Grammar, spelling and using a short form or an entire word rather than an acronym, at least once at the beginning of an article, seems to be a lost art. I think we learned that in 8th grade. I had to edit because I re read what I rote. -
Would you please get off your but and tell the Minions just out of view to pick up the pace as well. We don't want to have the giant OFC house warming in September when the water is frozen solid. Please Dave, get a movin' son.

You have that right neighbour. My wife worked that night and they had to look for the snow shovels to clear the sidewalks in front of the store. There are enough it can be as slick as ice. I saw them 6 inches (edit: not feet, ha) deep a few years ago in front of the Scotia Bank next to the bridge. When I was a tyke and we came out to Dover for a week we used to tie my aunts thread to their tails and fly them. These suckers are as big as Grass Hoppers. Our Italian Aunt who we stayed with would cook, sew and sweep sand from the cabin all day long. I think I saw her outside once that week. Because of that few days in around 60' I bought this place some 36 years or so latter. It had to be 60' because my baby brother was born a few weeks before and my brother and i got our first ever vacation. Believe it or not Bucks Cabins are still there. 2 adults and 4 kids in a place the size of a small shed.

2 newbies and a speedboat (Lake O fishing)
Old Ironmaker replied to huzzsaba's topic in General Discussion
Are you kidding me? I know guys that have 1000's of dollars in stuff on their non speed boats the catch diddly squat. You must have been listening Huzz. More fun than tossing a float from shore eh? Good on you man, I can't been happier. Does than mean you won't be asking anymore questions now about minnows vs. worms from shore? I hope not. -

Trolling Motor Battery, Starter Battery and Electronics
Old Ironmaker replied to fisherman7's topic in General Discussion
Don't forget the in line fuses going to the starter battery. I have had my Humminbird shut down due to low volts but the 115 Mariner would just crank over. If you still have an issue you may be looking at a short somewhere. We pulled a red wire from a buddies dash a few weeks ago because he was loosing his GPS screen and had to restart it every 1/2 hour or so, and all of a sudden it was brown not red, lucky guy. Never rule out a short, it could save having a fire down the road. Like Sinker said you may have a bad, or both deep cell batteries are bad or a bad connection between the 2@12 volts wired as 24V. Bow mount batteries take a pounding that a rear starter battery won't see much abuse.
