  1. Those are world class walleye by anybody's standards, Simon. Congrats to you, you certainly put in the time. Thanks for sharing your story, pics and video. They're great!
  2. More fantastic memories.....cultivate them.
  3. Have you got the model/serial number of the motor?
  4. I have bunks. I do a quick walk around (away from the ramp) and the very first thing I do is take strap off and snap the boat line on. Have always done it that way and never had a problem.
  5. What a super day for your Dad, Sis and yourself, Bernadette. Good sized eaters there also! Betcha Sonny's smiling ear to ear right now.
  6. You asked this question on May 1st. 27 replies almost unanimously gave you the correct answer. NO, you do not need a fishing license once you've reached the age of 65. You must however be able to prove your age. You haven't fished at all this year yet?
  7. Yeah it's a mako. Here's the video version. http://link.brightcove.com/services/player/bcpid1278844113?bctid=793237666001
  8. Is it a Canadian or a US boat?
  9. This started out as a dogs' rights thread. It's now a political thread. Let sleeping dogs lie. Thanks for understanding.
  10. You're a good man Mike.
  11. But I don't have 'boarders' me brudder.
  12. Yes Paul, the attacking fish is a card carrying member of the actors guild. Do you know how long it took to train that shark? Not to mention the pay scale.
  13. Win the opportunity to give them your money. Priceless.
  14. Very useful guide Craig, thanks for posting it.
  15. Twocoda said it best I think.
  16. Or something significant like: Today I was wondering if it's the round lip or the square lip that gives you the widest wobble on a crankbait.
  17. Aren't you guys afraid you'll be out somewhere and (gasp!) see someone wearing the same shirt that you're wearing? They're owned by Canadian Tire so you'll soon be able to wear your UV shirts sporting the lovely JobMate logo.
  18. Guess not too many people remember this stuff...I liked this when it came out. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/qslQJLnk0qw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  19. This has already gone on too long.
  20. Congrats to you both, John and Greg. Your success story is an inspiration to all muskie hunters. Your accomplishments are also a testament to Mike Parker's Handlebarz muskie lures!
  21. A lot of respect here. Willie Nelson, Leon Russel and the great Ray Charles. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/2UW4ELmVD9M" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  22. $7000 for the rescue is negligible when you consider that the bear wants an arm and a leg. You guys play safe up there and have a super time.
  23. Good stuff! Looks as though the young'ns had a super time. Thanks for sharing that.
  24. Dave has never felt better and good for him.
  25. J, Phil and myself had a great time at Lakair. It was a short visit but it was fun. Really nice to catch up with some old friends as well. I didn't take very many pictures at all but managed to find these on my camera. This is Joey and Wayne. Leah and myself, I have no idea who took the pic. Here's one of Joe with a fine looking pike. My son Phil relaxing. J with a Nipissing smallie, Actually she caught a few of those. My trophy for the week of course. (Stop it Terry, I can hear you laughing from here!) Here's a water snake lazing on a rock. I know it's a water snake cause he couldn't possibly have walked out to the rock. I hope I can get up there for longer next year.
