  1. Why not Paul? Quebec frogs speak English. Some can even form complete sentences, properly punctuate and spell correctly.
  2. And this is just my opinion. A regular seat is much more comfortable, however, the reason people want a raised front casting deck is so that they can see (sight fishing) what they're casting at a see the action. It's usually easier to cast accurately while standing. I have used the one on a bud's boat and I find it comfortable enough to fish a good part of the day. The only thing that you should be concerned about at the beginning is the type of boat you have and the pound thrust of your bowmount. I have a 70 pound 24volt and I know that if I inadvertently power it up at full throttle at a 90 degree angle, it'll knock me off balance. I'll be buying one this week so I'll know how many PFD re-arm kits I'll need before I get used to it.
  3. And why wouldn't it be? Did you read the rules?
  4. Two words. Taber Toss!
  5. Don't think so, that's not his work.
  6. Sorry, it's not anyone that I know of.
  7. Yes, in the Erin area you need 40" plus to ensure it doesn't heave with the seasons. I'd also set the pole at a very slight angle away from the pull of the clothesline......there's no telling what a boat tarp, a tent and 2 sleeping bags will do. edit: If it's wood you're using, you might want to treat/seal it to prevent rot.
  8. Look at it carefully, Mike. Those marks were done by a Honda 9.9, 4 stroke kicker.
  9. I'd say that this was seeded by someone who doesn't want anyone fishing the Otonabee for the next few weeks while he's there.
  10. There's a good chance that Mark would win one of the weeks for sure. He loves it and knows what he's doing. Congrats to you Mark!
  11. It would be even less confusing if people learned how to spell the word. If you're going to be obstinate enough to use the wrong word, at least spell it correctly. PICKEREL!
  12. I wish people would indicate in the subject line that there was graphic matter involved. I'm not that squeamish but I really hate to see someone hurting. I hope you're feeling good now and it's all fixed up.
  13. That's good as long as you have a couple of license holders to go with the couple of lines and that the couple of rods in the water all day long are under constant supervision by all license holders. I don't know the area so I can't help you but have a great time.....that's a really relaxing way to fish.
  14. Tighten or replace rivets maybe?
  15. Good stuff Bernadette. Glad you had a good time.
  16. Thanks Sandy. You're a sweetie! Tell the big dude I said hi and it'd be nice to meet up SOOOOOON!
  17. And Connie, I meant to tell you that Thorpe called me early this morning...told me that the season is going really well (I knew that)....tomorrow I'll find out how he did on the major today. Hope you and Norma are well.
  18. Yeah I know, Kevin. One of the worst things that can happen to someone is when their butthole loses the ability to distinguish between wet and dry. I got a birthday card from the Federal government today. I found it a little ironic that some things they can do right....the card arrived within minutes of my actual time of birth. Basically, the card says "You're an ol' bugger now, here's your card". The accompanying letter says that I MUST sign the white strip at the back of the card but I will never be asked for the card. So I'm thinking, how will anyone know I signed it? They go on to say that there's another white space under the sig space for me to write an emergency phone number. Now I'm wondering, are they concerned about me (in case I wander off and forget where I live) or are they just anxious and want to be the first to know if something happens to me so they can immediately stop that minimum amount they're allegedly going to send me? It's getting too complicated. I'm going fishing.
  19. Thanks again folks...only a little more than an hour left.

Not many people ever referred to it so it slid down a priority list. See what we can do.
  21. Thanks guys. Only 10 or so more hours and it'll be time for a little R&R.
  22. A well considered move from Josh.....think about it.
  23. I didn't see your name in the photo gallery. Where is that pic from?
  24. The gallery got hacked a while back and we're still working to get it running properly. As far as I know, it's working now but the thumbnails aren't showing.
