  1. Great pictures, Lew. Marvin appears to be right into the spirit of things. Merry Christmas to you, Diane and Sherri. A special thought for Jim and Eddy as well. ps, J wants to know who your decorator is.
  2. Thank you Roger. Not only a Christmas song but something I play anytime of the year. Take care of yourself my friend.
  3. Eggnog must be more potent this year. Good stuff Terry. It's good when we can encourage one of our own.
  4. Let Brian take pics of you Terry. We like your shirts!
  5. Don't kid yourself. Most desert dwellers have a few dollars and would dearly love to sit near ice for a few hours anytime!
  6. I stay with Old Mil'wackie' all year. If there was something that I liked better for Christmas, I'd have it all year.
  7. "Happy and healthy" rings a bell, Drew. Your post is something for everyone to read and think about....not unlike almost any of your other posts to this community. Thanks muchly <----- adverb
  8. Man..the images that conjures up......pass me the brain bleach, Rob.
  9. Well you've gotten some good tips here but if I can add just one more and, to my way of thinking, probably the most important tip a newcomer to ice fishing should have. For the first few or even several outings, go out there with someone who has experience out on the ice...specifically on the body of water you're going to. I'm sure some others will chime in on this. Good luck to you and enjoy yourself.
  10. I feel for you Bernie. It's not even worth banging your head against the wall for these kinds of things. Here's a thought, you have so many friends/relatives sharing your piece of paradise several times a year. I think many would step up to help you through this one. That would be great.
  11. What would you have done with the stuff you bought with the Visa card?
  12. Thanks for the vid. Looks like lotsa fun. Depends where you live I guess. It'll be the 22nd in 5 minutes where my brother lives in Australia and he seems to be chuffed at still being around.
  13. Well, it's Christmas. I think that a bunch of people might want to take the time to read the treaties, perhaps talk to people who know something about the content, facts and intent in those agreements and then come back in the new year and comment on what they've learned. Thanks for understanding. Thanks also for keeping it reasonably civil for 5 pages.
  14. Sorry...am in the mood for this tonight. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/f1Q8M-i7SxM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  15. Damn, I would have done it but I'd need another 8 hours from here (132 hours both ways) and I can't have the down time from work.
  16. You're certainly hearty gents David and John. Really nice dark fish there. Reefrunners are my goto's when walleye trolling. Thanks for the report David.
  17. I guess Red was looking at Catherine eh?
  18. Good Job, Guys. Ok so tell us, how thick/thin was the ice where you were? I'm thinking that sayin' the "Rob's" fish is the nicest is a pretty safe bet.
  19. That's very generous of you Steve. Thank you on the community's behalf.
  20. Friday and Saturday will be annoying here on the board as it is every time some failed attempt at electroshock therapy/waste of space human being announces one. I thought I might be seeing better deals in the classifieds though.
  21. Joe has that right.
  22. Looks like a special weekend for you guys. Some beautiful, clean fish there too.
  23. You should repaint them in the Air Canada pattern. It might sink more quickly.
  24. Yeah originally Quetico Tackle Atikokan, Ontario maybe. I've got one or two used ones left. But yes, they were a bugger at line twist.
  25. where's the basil hahahaha
