  1. Much appreciated Kelvin and all the rest of the gang helping out!
  2. It's a charity event, it doesn't much matter who 'started' it. Maybe the few who are unhappy with an experience they may had there would be kind enough to offer their organizational skills. I'm sure it'd be appreciated. Let's all have a good time doing this for Tyler. I'm not stirring the pot either.
  3. Very enjoyable videos, Simon. Thank you for sharing. Please tell me that you're backing those up.
  4. We are proud to be sponsoring the 10th annual Fishing for Tyler event again this year on Lake Simcoe. It'll be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014. We will provide information about the event as it becomes available. Let's see if we can break records this year. Thanks everyone. This will be pinned on the 22 of this month.,
  5. Is it me? Is it me?? On my boat anytime Paul.
  6. Be thankful, Rob. They're really not a good thing for house foundations.
  7. Getting them here too. Keeps people on their toes. There are advantages though. In this cold weather, politicians keep their hands in their own pockets.
  8. I'm trying to figure out what this has to do with Vancouver.
  9. I wish more people would join in..especially newer members. It's what makes the community strong. It'll be a fun time for sure. I've thought about it but I'm pushin' 70 and it's a 1300 KLM return trip for me so I guess I'll miss this one. Have a great time guys. Glad you're doing this.
  10. That's a good selection of people, Christopher. It tells me that you're more cerebral than most and at your age, that's saying a lot.
  11. Happy new year to you, Garry. The Bud's father will be thrilled with that new custom rod. And yes, it's cold here tonight. I'm guessing it'll be the coldest overnight temp of the winter but we are nice and toasty around the fireplace. *GRIN* Have a good healthy year, Garry.
  12. I remember that. For many years we had two super powers, armed to the teeth, posturing for an all out, last man standing. world war III.
  13. Happy and healthy new year, everyone!
  14. John was at my place a while back. We had a few beers, a bite to eat and laughed all the while. He's a hard working straight shooter and an all around good guy. Maybe the stars will align and we'll do it again soon. The door is always open. As for the votes for me, I'm the farthest person away from being a celebrity but I cherish any time that I spend with old and new friends. That said....thanks for the votes.
  15. Nah, he just listens to banjo bluegrass on his 8 track.
  16. Good idea Cliff. I'll dump my boat one off at the fire hall too, if they'll take it.
  17. Is there that much LM North of #17 and West of the Serpent, Steve? I was under the impression that it was almost all Smallies in that area.
  18. Can build us one of these?
  19. From the Government of Canada website: Only the devices marked with one of the following are approved for use in Canada: "Approved by Department of Transport Canada" or "Approved by Canadian Coast Guard, Department of Fisheries and Oceans" There is an exception which reads: Only these devices are approved with the following exception for foreign nationals: "A person who ordinarily resides in a country other than Canada, where the person brings aboard the pleasure craft a wearable personal flotation device or lifejacket of appropriate size that the person has brought into Canada for the person's use while in Canada and that conforms to the laws of that country."
  20. Good shootin', Greg.
  21. Probably adopted.
  22. Absolutely beautiful, Simon. Jack is blessed to have you both as parents.
  23. OK Drew....I just skimmed over this and I must say, I need a meal and a few beers before I even attempt to take it all in. You are a master at this and anyone here who wants to learn about how to fish and presents reports should download this report and record it for safekeeping. Thank you Drew. This is the best Christmas present you could have given me.
